From what I remember he thought he had multiple people stalking him. He even slept in parking lots in his car for a while because he wanted his family to be safe. Some people thought it was mental illness but I don’t think it was. The people stalking him might’ve even gotten ahold of his childhood photos somehow. I had an aversion to noodles for most of my childhood and into my teenage years after a nightmare involving a worm in my pasta. I could still eat it noodles, but it was never something i craved or chose by my own volition. This video made me realize i haven't had this problem for many years now. Goes to show that, like you and hotdogs, these food quirks aren't necessarily permanent.

I don't think John's (or your previous) aversion to noodles is that far fetched, when you consider that there is likely enough media where spaghetti turns out to be worms or entrails that there is a very strong possibility some creators may have similar food aversions. In fact, food aversions in general have influenced popular culture since at least the 20th Century, if not earlier. Consider the fact that an admittedly controversial (as influential as he was) Horror author, the late HP Lovecraft, had an allergy to seafood and incorporated his aversion into his horror stories.

Not really. There are vitamins that require some amount of fat for the vitamins to be useable by the human body. A traditional olive oil and vinegar dressing is perfectly healthy. Fat does not equal unhealthy. It is a human necessity. @@anonymouscheesepie3768

Not only are pickle lids far too difficult to remove, it is unsettling how little they turn when you put them back on. I never feel like I can trust the seal. Also, they corrode, making them a bad option for reuse. I understand that the mason-style jars are likely the best option for the pickling process, but I really hate them.... Though at least they aren't as loathsome as cans.
