Of course you don’t make a “monster “… it lives within someone. If a person is true to themselves, they will not change. Unfortunately Filipina change …and the close people around them change. As for the city Filipina girls, my concern is that my fiancé will feel uncomfortable after moving to the states haha. I told her that we can't afford to hire domestic helpers unlike her home in PH, so we will need to take turns doing household chores after work. Although she says she don't mind, there is a sense of guilt in me because I felt she downgrade her life for me. However, I think as long as we have a stable apartment, food to eat, healthy future kid, everything should be fine. *With inflation, the cost of living in the states are getting more and more ridiculous. Can't imagine what the future will hold when inflation continues to push the cost sky high, especially since the increase in salary will never be proportional to the increase in cost of living.

Seeing food prices increase in supermarkets and increase in petrol prices certainly creates more stress for citizens as a whole. But yep, I did a quick google search, Poland has higher inflation than US for the past year. What's good is those lower income groups still have food stamps to survive. The rest of us could only work harder in hope that we could get promoted in our career to sustain our lifestyle.

Appreciate the honesty of this content. As a few people have pointed out, scammers have a choice to be scammers.. or, they have a choice to try again. Most of us are not there to hurt filipinas, and sometimes, hurt is unintentional. I would pose this question; how does a foreigner break down that wall of those who don't trust? This is a two way street. Filipinas are worried about being hurt, and foreigners are worried about being scammed. Wouldn't it be nice if we could appreciate each individual with a fresh outlook instead of allowing our emotions to be dictated by past experiences. I do understand the message you're trying to convey with this video, but most of us didn't create these monsters and shouldn't pay the price for those who did. As I said, this is a two way street. Foreigners and Filipinas alike are the victims here.

Being a foreigner, I would hate to agree with you on this, but I also can't deny it. But not ALL the fault lies with the foreigner, if there wasn't a demand there wouldn't be a supply and vice versa. If foreigners stopped being fooled and giving money then there's no market for the scammers, if there were no scammers, then foreigners wouldn't be getting scammed. I want to say more fault lies on the Filipina's doing the scamming because they're taking advantage of the foreigners emotions and need/want to help another human being, I also understand the need to survive and everyone will do what is needed to survive, but there are more HONEST ways to do that, as you said, there are also some foreigners that play with Filipina's emotions as well. Some foreigners may like the feeling they are helping someone survive (I would say this is the majority), while others it's a power trip knowing she's in poverty and he holds the keys to her survival. All in all I think BOTH sides are EQUALLY to blame for it. There will ALWAYS be good and bad people no matter what country you come from, it's on each person to figure out what type of person they are dealing with. NO ONE should or deserves to be taken advantage of regardless of their circumstances. For a people that "CLAIM" to be so religious, what does their religion say about them scamming. Being a scammer isn't just wrong, it's also MORALLY wrong, something the almighty will NOT look favorably on regardless of their circumstances. They are lying, being materialistic, greedy, gluttonous, sloth, envy, they're hitting the trifecta of Cardinal Sins, and it doesn't matter how much material things they've collected, they do NOT get to take it with them to hell.

I am a filam living in Makati. It's very hard to date local girls who have dated foreign (white mostly) guys before. Most women have gotten paid by their bfs to be a gf. I can't do that for them. However, if u already have d ready savings USD 50-100k is more than enough for a nice bungalow in d province. Again, it's d lifestyle. As usual, the complete answer is probably a little more complex sometimes, but, in general, I think you two are "right on the money" (...to use an American phrase.) The phonomenon is not unique to the PH though. I have felt like I have been paying for the mistakes of other men for most of my life, because other American men have pissed off so many of our American women with their behavior (not necessarily money-related in this case). As it happens, one of the first Filipina's that I started chatting with turns out to be a mega-scammer. Ouch. Left me feeling like there was nowhere to go where I would be treated decently, wthout a partner wanting to take out her old grievances against me when I have done nothing wrong. That's why I don't like other American men (for the most part) or women (because they are damaged on such a wide-spread scale). Having said all that, if I can manage to wrap up my business here and move to the PH, I will give it one more real effort before I give up and just choose to live a bachelor life.

I enjoy your videos and insights but disagree on this topic. Maybe your viewpoint is a contributing factor for a very small percentage of highly naïve province girls but the larger problem is greed. Why do vendors feel it's OK to charge a "skin tax", even though they've not been "spoiled" by a prior foreign customer? Why do property sellers jack their prices up if they think a foreigner is involved in the transaction, even though they've never sold a property to a foreigner before? Filipinos state it's the foreigners who are driving prices up/creating monsters to avoid accepting their own responsibility. In all cases, it's the greed of the people who think they can get something extra out of the "dumb" foreigner that is the root of the problem.

If you just want sex that’s also easy to get too but not because you are so handsome but because these naive young Filipinas believe your bs. I’m an American expat married to a much younger beautiful Filipina and she’s the most loving, loyal, caring woman I’ve ever had a relationship with. Filipino culture dictates strong family values which is why you frequently see 3 or 4 generations living under one roof. The children don’t put their elders in nursing homes. Of course their financial resources or lack thereof don’t allow it but children are raised to revere their elders and support them. Most Filipinas would never cheat even though Filipino men are known to screw around. We’ve been married 2 1/2 years and are leaving for the US just as soon as she has her interview at the Embassy and I can’t wait to get my wife and 2 stepchildren home to give them some amazing opportunities that becoming US Citizens will bring their way. So guys we don’t need you here getting young Filipinas pregnant and leaving without a thought or support.

There are learned behaviors, if you don't think so just look at women here in the west. They will basically do the same things, only they don't hide it. Yes they should be held accountable for their behavior, some of the comments are off in my opinion. People do change based on their experiences. Just look at a lot of the comments, never trust a woman etc. How did you come up with that attitude? You weren't born with that. It's your experience that has formed it. I think you are experiencing part of the point they're trying to make in the video. It sounds like she is getting greedy and starting to take your kindness for granted. It might be time to shit-test her and see if she really wants you for you. What you have already given her is a lot for a filipina that is already working. Tell her money is tight and you can't send anymore right now, or if you do, send very little. Even a small amount should be appreciated and if it's not, and she gives you an attitude, that will be a BIG RED FLAG! It might be time to move on. It might be hard if you're already attached to her, but there are plenty more good women out there, and you could meet a new and better one when you visit.
