The first 10 to 15 minutes I was playing this game I was not impressed.. No audio for the encounters or and manually reading the dialogue, etc. But about an hour in I was totally hooked. This game is extremely fun. Looking very forward to this series and continuing the game myself as well.

You could certainly go for a gun ship design, focusing on heavy armor and lots of guns instead of relying on evasion

Research perk gives me resource bonuses for each crew member with at least one Astro, if a person has no Astro, and I give them a single point in it, it has a percentage yield gain to my discoveries. So I gave everyone 1 point.
