Must do "track bar/sector shaft brace" to keep the steering from breaking off, and the new track bar has extra curve cause the stock bar will hit the new sector shaft brace. 👉Must do for sure👈 the parts are affordable and can d.i.y.

That jeep is looking good! If weight and road vibration issues are of concern regarding the beadlocks you should look into Method Race wheels. The have what's called "bead grip" technology where the inner part of where the bead pops into is ridged which allows it to go down to a PSI that's closer to the single digits. They do weigh a little more than an average aftermarket wheel though but you won't compromise road use quality.

Awesome video man! Hey few thoughts.. when you visit these places it would be cool to see tours of their facilities like you started to do, or even a quick review of their vehicles. That’s the first Nissan Frontier I’ve seen modded and while I’m not interested in Nissan it would be cool to see those vehicles featured if you have the time to do that. Curious, will you be going to Overland Expo West in May?

Edwin, Expedition One is a great kit for your vehicle. I have Expedition One also, but the one piece of kit that would replace those bloody Rotopax. Leaky buggers. Get yourself a Long Range America auxiliary fuel tank. It's a game changer and extends your travel range. Yes, I have one and 860 miles of range, too. Cheers, Mate.

@@KrokemOutdoors Edwin, that's a good question. I did check and there is no option currently available for the Eco-Diesel Jeep. Perhaps NATO Spec. Gerry cans would be a better choice than the Rotopax. Given their current location on the Jeep. Cheers, Mate.

so glad to hear your not going RTT on the top. it makes alot of sense to have storage up there for recovery gear and tools, which you dont want all dirty inside. I hope you continue to build out the interior for camping inside the jeep. Im looking at maybe going to a 4dr jeep from an Xterra which i like to sleep inside of. there arent many truly capabale suvs that I (6"0 can sleep inside comfortably, 4runner and the 4door jeeps are at the top of the list.

@Edward Shin, Have you taken into account the stress that is going to be applied to the 5-lug stock axles when mounting 40" tires? There is many people who have mounted 40" tires on stock Jeep axles and they've had catastrophic failures with the diff gears, U-joints, and even the spline ends of the axles breaking. Have you considered upgrading to 3/4 or 1-ton (8-lug) axles with the 40s?
@KrokemOutdoors
@KrokemOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Will be doing some additional mods with the 40’s; regearing, chromoly axle shafts, and hopefully not beat up the jeep too much on trails. Will see how it goes, and if it does indeed fail, will see about 1 tons 🙏
@TACTICALNOMAD
@TACTICALNOMAD Жыл бұрын
@@KrokemOutdoors, One mod you might consider in the meantime is to add a truss along with the Chromoly shafts to the stock axle. @TrailRecon trussed his Wrangler stock axle when he upgraded to 37s. I looking for a roof rack for my JLUR, not wanting to drill through the hard top being that we get a lot of rain here in Louisiana. BE CAREFUL. It's my understanding that the fine print in the Jeep warranty for the diesels says if you put anything in front of the grille (like your winch and hoop) you void the engine warranty. Check for yourself, but my guess is you need a front bumper with a sunken winch (good job on that) and NO BULL BAR to retain the engine warranty. You may notice Jeep themselves don't offer options that can block the grille. There's a reason for that.
