Sticking pattern is: RLRLKK RLK played as 16th note triplets. So basically play the pattern twice then play RLRLRL at the end.

Thanks a lot man. I actually use this exact fill when I play live with my band and i LOVE it so much! Thanks again man for real! I want so more fills like this!!!!
@Tekkerue13 жыл бұрын
I seen some have explained it as "triplets", but to be a little more specific it's 16th note triplets (which has 24 notes in the measure). So to help play it in time with a 4/4 beat, count it as: 1 trip let & trip let 2 trip let & trip let 3 trip let & trip let 4 trip let & trip let ' I like to think of this as a group of 6 (RLRLKK) followed by a group of 3 (RLK). Play the whole thing twice and then play the group of 6 to end it (9+9+6=24) and that will bring you right back in on the "1".

Thanks for showing the simple move which sounds very difficult, but my question is I hear a lot of drummers doing that in the shout songs (example Tye Tribbett still have joy) if that’s not it can you please assist and show what the drummer is doing. Again thanks and GOD Bless

Similarly, put Peart up against some of the session drummers in Nashville and he would subsequently get schooled there as well. Most country session drummers keep it simple on the kit in the studio, but I've seen them rip and it's unbelievable. The best drummers in the world are doing session work in hip hop and in country, go figure....
