I'm always impressed when people who have made it big, still helps people out. ❤

I met the great and powerful Mr. Cooper years ago. He was my absolute IDOL and my best friend won a contest to fly to Detroit, see his concert, and meet him afterwards. I nearly fainted lol. But he was such a kind and gentle man. He even brought out a whip to take pictures with us. One of the rare times your idol exceeds your expectations. Much respect. ❤️❤️❤️

I met John Deacon back in the early 80’s. He was so nice, respectful, bit shy, very personable. A total gentleman!

Alice Cooper is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I met him on accident once and he walked over to me and introduced himself as "Vince" which is his real name. I did a double take. I was a musician on a day off at about noon having a drinking problem at the time and he gave me a pep talk. He told me if I was ever in New York to swing by the softball field in Central Park as there was a pick-up game which functioned as an AA meeting and I was welcome to play. Oh, and he puts on a fantastic live show.

Haven’t watched the video yet. He always makes the good guy list. Sure his raw talent got him famous but fans keep you famous.

The nicest rock musician I ever met was David Crosby. We shared a joint before a CSN show in Palm Beach in the early 90's.

Yeah, I'm guessing that confession was hard to make, and it was a dick move. But you can't tell me people in this particular industry are shocked when it happens. There's no doubt she'll never have to worry about digging change out of the couch for smokes.😂

@@cornfusedatbest3980 I think even theyn may be shocked by the fact he had an affair for 15 YEARS.

@@sammic7492 Damn, 15 years seems rather specific for one to rattle off. What evidence can you submit that would convince a judge in a court of law, AND it can't be in the state of California. BTW, I'm not an attorney, I just think yer fulla shit.

I hope you add the late David Bowie to your list. A total class act when it came to his fans. There was an incident in Canada many years ago when a young fan, about 11 or 12, was desperately trying to raise money so he could afford a bus trip to Toronto to see a Bowie concert. Bowie heard about it and arranged transportation for the fan and then took him backstage for a visit. Bowie always put his fans first.

My good friend's sister used to work for Alice Cooper and she said he was one of the nicest people you could ever meet and work for..and I believe it .. I've been a fan of his for a while but I also like Hollywood vampires and his other notoriously nice bandmate 😊

Robin Trower for me 💕. But I agree about Ian Anderson as well, plus he's got a witty sense of humor. Saw both of these gentlemen at concerts many years ago.

I was friends with Dusty Hill. One of the nicest and most down to earth person you could ever meet. I'm still close with his wife and her mother. He used to have the best stories, that were not part of his band. I still miss him very much.❤

Axel Rose?? The same guy that attacked a fan for taking pictures at a concert?? Awful list for that alone.

People that are too nice are often manipulators. Dave Grohl is a prime example.

I stopped this video when they showed pictures of Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin while talking about Queen. Some of these selections are unbelievable. It seems like the main focus was generous acts for fans, not genuine kindness. Ever hear anyone speak badly of Joe Cocker or Rory Gallagher? No, but you'd hear plenty of it about The Rolling Stones. To be fair, as little as I like their music, I can said two good things about the GD. They PLAY, and give the audience LONG shows, as does Springsteen.

Not one photo of Ron Wood shown. He was referred to as Ron Woods. The Grateful Dead AND Jerry Garcia???? Also, the Dead were not that nice the few times that I met them. Bill Kreutzman even pushed me out of his way. Overall, it's a stupid list, based upon some groups doing one nice thing for some fans.

You left out the late Tom Petty, Bob Seger, and Joe Walsh. And I think this list needs some tweaking. I picked up Eddie Vedder and his party when I drove a cab in 1999. He ditched the fare and left a comparatively poor local guy to pay it. The guy clearly wasn't expecting to be stuck with the fare because his card didn't even go through the first time. So I have to disagree with his being on the list. Don't know about the rest of Pearl Jam. They weren't there. Also, I don't think the late George Harrison would have agreed that Paul is such a nice guy. His control issues were why Harrison had to go solo to get most of his songs out there. Agree on Alice, and the Grateful Dead. I have met Jerry Garcia. He's a down to Earth, regular guy. I haven't met Cooper but I know people who have and they all say the same things. he's salt of the Earth. Another genuine nice guy who maybe isn't as well known is Alex Chilton from the Box Tops and Big Star. I got to interview him with my college radio station in the 80s and he went out of his way to be accommodating.
