Those are some pretty awesome looking trails. Reminds me of West TX with a bit more elevation, but man I've driven through there from PHX to Windsole and wanted to get a bike there for sure. Actually spent time around flagstaff for work for a bit and always thought it was pretty amazing. Even out west of PHX and winter is certainly the time to be there.

The YZ250X is probably phenomenal for that kind of terrain. However, as for racing cross country in the woods of Oklahoma, it's just too heavy for a guy my size to wrangle for an hour and a half. I much prefer my 2002 RM125 for racing and riding where I'm at. The YZ250X can be saved for the dunes and maybe some super slow technical stuff that needs the added torque over the featherlight nature.
