Finally! Flow on a MTB is like having your own personal rollercoaster. You can't convince me that it isn't the pinnacle of fun on two wheels.

You should feature Bernard Mountain and Kitsuma out in the same Old Fort area. The building of the new 30 plus miles of trails starts immediately and will connect everything and be well over 40 miles of trails. I’m one of the G5 volunteers that has helped build those trails out there. Super stoked to see you featuring them.

Thank you for building such fun trails. Recently did a trip up there to ride and those trails were so much fun. Day one we did Kitsuma and what an awesome downhill run. Then we hit the Old Fort trails and had just a great day of fun flow downhill. Thanks again from Florida.

Thank you for sharing some of the many trails from the Asheville area. When traveling to Asheville, the trail selection is overwhelming. Video's like this are very helpful.

As someone new to MTB I've spent a lot of time riding these trails (and in Bent Creek) and dialing in a lot of my skills! So cool to hear your perspective on them!

I really like these trails despite their green ratings. Well constructed, well marked and fun to ride. As a much older rider, I really appreciate having some nice flow trails nearby.

I love trailbuilder easter eggs. As familiarity and confidence increaase, the "hidden" features suddently appear and it's like a new trail section.

I rode this about a month ago. So sweet. I thought I would only do 2-3 trails, was feeling great so I did them all. It was a perfect day.

Enjoyed the trails there too. The green trails rock. The blue trails are more narrow with those turns that sneak up on you and less fun. Wish they would have approached the blue trails differently with some tech and not just making them tighter.

Just curious what full face helmet you use or would recommend. I am just an old, slow guy that wants a little more protection than your standard half shell helmet. I ride mostly in the southeast (panhandle of Fl.) where it is nice and hot most of the time.

Hey Alex, what frame rate do you use when you are shooting your pov videos? I usually set it to 60 because of the fact it's action, but I've heard many KZbinrs actually shoot in 30fps.. I'm sure you have talked about this in the past but very curious on your thoughts on how the two different frame rates end up looking.

Hey, by any chance would you be willing too recommend a few trails to hit up for a first time visitor to the Pisgah area? I’ll be heading down there a week from today, so much riding options down there and would love to get your 2 cents. I’d consider myself an advanced rider, but am not into drops and jumps, I like to keep the rubber on the ground. Thanks bud!
@rg3965 Жыл бұрын
Besides the ones in the video there's Greenslick in Bent Creek, lots of good trail DuPont State Forest (be sure to add Ridgeline to your list - guaranteed to put a smile on your face!), for more adventure Bennett, Kitsuma and Black Mountain are all advanced.....but there are.....drops. 😊

I don’t understand the handicap parking spots for a parking lot that is there for people to hike. Maybe the spaces are wider for accessibility?
@danconner4816 Жыл бұрын
There is an ADA approved 1 mile loop from the parking lot. These trails are built for all folks.
@two2pedal289 Жыл бұрын
And the handicap spots in the small lot near the Kiosk are for handicap fishing off decks jutting out over Curtis Creek.

There is a wheelchair accessible paved trail along the creek....and I've seen a hand recombinant bike out on these trails for our fellow MTB community members who cannot walk. Great thoughtful design to this area to be inclusive for those less fortunate as those of us who can normally ambulate.

Flow trails?! What am I supposed to do with all that traction and support? Maybe if I got to ride one more than once a season, they'd be more fun. As it is, I can't ride them well enough, or fast enough for them to be very exciting. Tech for me, unless I move to a bike park somewhere.
