So the best thing to bear in mind is that you sometimes do this and to just pay attention to the type of move you recommend seeking, whose turn it is and the position on the board. I'll know this for the future but it was very confusing indeed trying to find a move for Wesley one turn in advance for each move by Alireza that would win for Wesley.

At 4:46, why wouldn't you capture the H2 pawn? King cannot capture due to being under check and the bishop covering so rook captures and then you recapture the rook with check and the queen covering the rook? Obv I'm not that good at chess but I was wondering if someone could explain that?
