6:51 Hey, julia! I just wanted you to know thank you for being so real. I've been a mess lately because almost 3 months ago, I went through my first break up, I'm having such a hard time figuring out how to take it, in addition to home life. It makes me feel seen to know that someone who has almost everything you want in life, like I can still feel sad and not have to feel bad about it. I love ur vlogs so much and everything you share. They are so funny, and you are one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to sports and school! I hope that you can get through this rough patch in your life right now, and have a great time in asia! xxx

Julia, seeing you deal with anxiety and cry for "no reason" actually helps so much and has made me feel so much less alone. It's so nice to know that other people are going through the same thing, and we don't always know why! I love your content and you so much, keep going, it will get better ❤️

Thank you for being real with us, it's so important to show the "other side" and talk about your feelings because social media usually focus only on a bright side and it skews my view of life - even if I know it's not real it's sometimes hard to remember that people are NOT perfectly happy all the time. Also, my skin has too got bad last few months, even tho it was just fine before, for me it's (probably) mostly stress and I hope to fix it during summer holiday! I wish you a safe travel today, enjoy your trip

Hi Julia! Thank you for being so real and honest with your mental health experiences! Being vulnerable can be the scariest thing in the world, but it is such a sign of strength, courage, and compassion! I am so proud of you! If you are looking for at least that one person who has felt seen and heard because of what you've shared, ya girl is right here! 🥰 Keep on keepin' on!

I've struggled with acne for majority of my teens, i was so insecure of my acne scarring that i refused to leave the house without either wearing makeup or a mask (it started getting real bad around 2020) so last year when i started getting into skincare, i was using products with harsh chemicals that were too stripping which ended up damaging my skin barrier pretty badly and in turn, made me have one of the worst breakouts ive ever had. My skin was so irritated and red that i remember just doing my skincare with the lights off in my bedroom so i didnt have to see my face in the mirror. Thankfully im past that now, and while my skin still isnt perfect, im learning to love it and all of its breakouts. After a lot of trial and error, ive found some products that have helped calm it down at least a little bit, im still trying to find things that help with the scarring but whenever i look at my acne scars, it reminds me of something emma chamberlain said on her podcast, i cant remember exactly what she said but it was something along the lines of "acne scars are just reminders that you beat that specific breakout" which makes me feel better about them.

Please be kind to yourself and remember the more you try and push anxiety away and not want it unfortunately it comes in stronger try your best to coexist with it even though when my brain is so bad it seems so impossible to do that but taking one step at a time and resting! your so brave and I love your content ❤❤

9:30 hey juliaaa, i can relate so much to just feeling like crying out of nowhere and not being able to sort out my head. perhaps, you can take a look at your birth control and the side effects (i hope i remember right, that you use those). birth control, especially the hormonal kind, can make you feel all type of ways so it’s worth taking a look at! other than that, i recommend for you to buy some asian mascaras while you’re there!! they can hold the curl of small and straight asian lashes soooo much better!!

I can really relate to the inexplicable feelings of anxiety, and although I know it sucks to be going through that, it's comforting to see someone else dealing with sort of the same thing, so thank you for opening up, Julia! It's going to be okay; I know you probably know that already but in case you needed to hear it :) Sometimes things just feel off even when they "shouldn't" be. I try to just keep in mind that it's temporary, and life isn't always that way! I just finished my sophomore year of high school and let me tell you it was stressful. You really inspire me to be a better version of myself and to keep moving when you're productive and when you're not in the best spot. I hope everything works out for you! P.S you're making Brown seem like HEAVEN lol P.P.S have so much fun in Asia, I want to travel so baddddd, definitely keep us updated on how the trip goes!

so excited for your Asia trip omg!!! never been to japan and corea, but sure thing i can tell u about hongkong. hong kong might be veeery humid lately not sure how's the mosquito-insect situation there, but be sure to take mosquito repellent w you. in hong kong people speak both cantonese and english, so there wont be lots of linguistic issues. if your translator doesnt have the option for "cantonese", you can also use the option of "traditional chinese" works the same recommendations: New Praya, Kennedy Town (堅尼地城 in cantonese) is an amazing spot to take sunset/sunrise pics imo Mong Kok (旺角 in cantonese) is this zone where they have from small shops to mall, and lots of food Temple Street Night Market (廟街)lots of street food food recommendation: hong kong is very famous for their desserts, i HIGHLY recommend trying Dim Sum (its normally a "breakfast", but who cares, we can break the rules), pineapple bun, Char siu pork on rice (叉燒 in cantonese. is a Cantonese-style barbecued pork with rice), (hongkonese) milk tea (actually not sure of how is it different from the rest of the milk tea in china), Zhu Cheung Fun ( 腸粉 in cantonese. "refers to sheets of rice noodles presented as rolls stuffed with various fillings. Smooth, slippery, soft" got it from google), Cart Noodles (車仔麵 in cantonese. is basically a noodle dish), Claypot Rice (煲仔飯 in cantonese "a dish where the rice is cooked in a clay pot with preserved Chinese sausage or other preferred toppings," got this from google as well lol) hope you have fun in hong kong and stay safe!! 🥰💞
