Thank you for spending the time and effort to ensure the manhole covers are replaced flush. So many professionals accessing pits just 'dump' the cover back, leaving it sitting proud and creating a trip hazard.

It really bothers me when people leave them sticking up

Job 1: As soon as you got the jetter in I could see the inlet from the gully was at the level of the muck in that catch pit. Not good. Hopefully the cleanout of the catch pit will settle that high level in the gully. Job 2: The weather was not nice that day. That catch pit was full! Great job!

Yes the catch pit is very full hopefully it sorts everything out

I really like how you had a camera set up at the catch pit when you were jetting the gully and a camera set up at the gully when you were jetting the catch pit. Always nice to see how what you’re doing is affecting the other side 👍

The basket under the manhole cover is a very European idea. If you watch Kempinger (in Germany) many of the pits Carsten opens have the same thing.

Have you gone back to the first job yet at all? Would love to see the full clean.

Could you go down the pit and shovel out silt with buckets?😀
@Keep_itflowingКүн бұрын
You could but it would require a confined space team

Do you need to get premises codes for all your oil separator’s & interceptors due to them being hazardous waste & does it cost you more to tip .
@Keep_itflowing46 минут бұрын
It depends on the job tbh if its hazardous we don’t carry it
@glynrogers1018Күн бұрын
Hi where do you tip the silt
@Keep_itflowingКүн бұрын
it will go to the treatment centre most of the solids will stay on the truck, when the silt builds up to much in the tanker we open the back door and it gets washed out over a pit

I've done drainage for 20 years. The first thing i would have done was to clean both pits. The pipe isn't that blocked, very obvious

Do you charge separately for each service you perform?😀
@Keep_itflowingКүн бұрын
It depends on the deal our office have with them in this case the catch pit would be a separate job as it requires the tanker
