Regardless, whatever a woman chooses, she will have to live with it. However, there are far, , far more dangerous issues within the Black community for both male and female. HEALTH! We die at higher rates at the hands of diseases and the whyte medical profession. Homelessness, murder rates within our own, etc. Black men don't want to deal with birthcontrol nor do many of them want deal with the child they have helped create. No one talks about that the lasting affects of the PIll and abortions. Try and get a white woman to discuss the high mortality of young black women during pregnancy and childbirth. We have the highest c-sections which are not needed. Immigrants, Latinos especially, get better healthcare than the Black community. Those choosing to have children aren't even safe. --CRICKETS-- from ALL sides, even our own. As a Bommer I had such high hopes for my community and the world at large. As a race, we are even more divided. Yes, I am past the child baring years, it doesn't mean I don't care. Personally, I am against abortion but will not interfere with other's right to choice nor should one else have the right to tell another what to do with their bodies! But if this is a top priority for for Black women over the age 50, this is a frightening a and very dangerous time for our community for this to be high priority. We need to be far more thoughtful!
