It's fun when I can recognise a location that I know extremely well which is doubling up for another place in another city. Where the political meeting was being held is St George's Hall in Liverpool. The City has the most Grade 1 and 2 listed properties in England after London. Great city for locations, currently there's filming going on for the next season of Outlander. (September 2024)

I read the book several years ago and I don't remember much of this version happening. Must be a loosely based version of War of the Worlds. At least this one's in England like the book was. Still looks pretty good though. 😀 Okay, I just read the info underneath; after the fact, nevermind. 😆
