Thank you for this. I am living in the Philippines from USA for almost 2 and 1/2 years. All of what you say is true. My wife always takes care of me, especially if I am sick. She is not a nurse, but she plays one at home. haha

Great video Arlene, you are so full of energy! You mentioned the roosters, but didnt mention the barking dogs. Skin tax seems to be a issue especially for travelers seeking a trike or taxi. ...and then there is the pagpag to be avoid. I have not traveled there yet but follow a few traveling youtube vloggers.

These are really good points, Alan! The stray dogs are getting fewer now bec the government are pulling them out of the streets and the skin tax on trike or taxi are mostly practiced in Manila. I would like to see a video showing rental prices of houses and condo's in Dumaguete, Valencia, IloIlo, Tagaytay, and CDO. Same places for healthy vegetarian/vegetables type of restaurants. Which places are best. Also, as I play the soprano saxophone (the same one Kenny G plays), I am retired, but want to do it for fun at market places, outdoor group exercise, public parks, promenades and meeting areas in front of ocean walks (for Free of course, since I will be an expat in PHP). I will be taking a battery powered PA system. with me. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated. I appreciate your wonderful woman's insight. Good luck with your life and happiness!

Can you make a video on how to determine which poor people to help? For instance if I have decided that one day I can afford to give away 250 pesos that day, but I can easily see 5 elderly and 10 very skinny children in the street how do I know the best way to give away my 250 pesos?
