This is a great Video. This brings back painful memories which i have been enduring. My relationship of 5 years ended 3 months ago. Sadly given what happens during the course of normal relationships…if a woman has been with say ..more than two-three men..or relationships etc..…let’s just say …in some way shape or form or another you dealing with a traumatized women .. Oh..she’ll try to mask em…but do know from time to time & throughout her life..them traumas just will continue to creep up on her.. & when she least expect em as well. The lines are blurred. Even in the church. You can get ostracized for keeping yourself and people have to have open dialogue. On the PREP issue... i was taught by a husband and wife co-pastor couple that worked in the medical field during the 80's they really opened my eyes on education and the reality of protective sex even within the marriage because you never know. Its a warped reality but a reality nonetheless... I look at it like this... incase my significant other were to have a lapse of judgement... that God-Forbid led to them having a positive HIV status... i would at least be protected for that outcome and then we could start the journey to healing if there was anything left to salvage the relationship. With that mindset I would not judge the status but judge the action that led to the status. Lastly, I believe you can in a healthy way blame your family and parents for trauma you experince however it still up to you to rise above the dysfunction.
