If you played fable 2 and 3 and made investments in businesses, there’s a well known exploit of changing the Xbox clock 10 years in the future and you would make all that money 10 years worth. So I’m pretty sure it’s a direct reference to that.

It's crazy how many NPCs in this game elude to the fact there's gonna be a sequel. From the water poison, the secret ending, Kenny's dialogue at the end of the game, and so many more. Could it be dumb satire like the this game was? Maybe. But I'd like to think we'll see High On Life 2 eventually.
