When I'm high and low, this song makes me smile and the day much better. When I'm drunk and happy, I get even more happy.

I first heard this at the tender age of 13 and I was just learning to play the guitar then and so the first song I ever learned to play wrong that is was called Stoney by JJWalker and of course it came from this album and this song was on it too. I loved me both and still do to this day some 40 years later...
@paddlazz4 жыл бұрын
Aw Stoney. "We were so free then, just walking down the road, never really carin' where that ol highway go." One of his live versions ended with "This is for ol' Harold Stonebeck. Wherever he is tonight."

Lived a few blocks west of the Poodle Dog my last (fifth) year of college in Austin in 1982-3 - on North Lamar was it, or was it north Burnett, & 45th +/-. Don't remember going into the place even once.
@BobDylanThomas4th8 жыл бұрын
On Burnet. No longer active it appears. If you are nostalgic, you better visit soon as the area is being re-commercialized, and it will be scraped soon.
