8:50 This is caused by trace rot which is caused by a leaked clock capacitor. Had this happen on a 1.0 Xbox that I once owned and I fixed it by jumping one of the power traces with a wire. As for the glitchy screen, that is caused by bad CPU capacitors.

16:20 the upside down ps1 trick is more commonly used with earlier models where the disc drive is seated on the left side instead of the right. those models had a plastic rail for the laser instead of a metal one and it would wear down a lot easier

Assuming you're comparing to the ps5 pro - I think the big difference here is that the ps3 super slim was actually a reasonable price and wasn't marketed as a pro product (although I think it might have started out more expensive than the regular slim? not sure tbh). Whereas the ps5 pro is very expensive, missing a disc drive, and also feels cheaper than it should be for a pro product. But I agree, the ps3 super slim definitely feels cheap. It is kinda nice how easy it is to access the disc drive though

The PS1 disc is wobbling. Probably due to a broken or worn spindle. The copy protection is a literal wobble groove so it’s having a hard time getting past the PS1 logo.

We try to keep up and have them listed when the video goes live, but it can be hard with how many consoles we have. There are also usually a couple consoles each episode that end up getting sold elsewhere before the video even goes live

You can have a really high gamerscore just by having played a ton of games. I remember having about 100k on my 360. That was mainly due to renting a ton of games and beating them within a week.

With a Super Slim PS3, try inserting an SD card or a debit card to the "crack" between the disc drive and the eject button. The disc can be read with the cover open, and this is critical to get PS one boot discs working to play imports and backups on this thing.

The OG Xbox that opens the tray with the power button might have the Clock Capacitor that leaked: the leak affects the face buttons and makes a short between them. A good way to know is if the console powers on as soon as you plug it in, which is the case here.

Why you always ragging on dusty, dirty consoles? Sometimes people put their old systems into storage, where it could be a basement, garage or even a storage unit and it collects dust. Sometimes even accumulated dust can look like dirt (even though dust is dirt) and it can be hard to get off of.

A hacker? Lmao. I have 110k (11 year old account) and barely play anything. Old accounts have had a long time to earn achievements without trying too hard. On my first account I think I had almost 45k and pretty much just played Minecraft, GTA 4, and saints row. All the other games I rented or bought on deep sale since I was a kid and didn't have a lot of money. Anyone with disposable income can get 50k in a few months if they really tried, that's how stallion and other gamers have over a million gs that are actually legit
