I have bled red and black for so long since I was 6 years old which was in 1999 (technically have always been a Don from birth I call it lol) but this year I have put a bandage over so to speak to stop the bleeding. I couldn’t barrack for anyone else I don’t jump ship when things get hard but for now I’ve switched codes to NRL/NFL for my football needs. I’ll miss watching Aussie rules but this club has ruined it for me and a lot of others. 😢

@@absolutelyessendon I think there’s a couple of asterisk required. IMO 2010-17 saw a very solid list of players that never got a fair crack at it. They did well to remain competitive during that time given the pressures they faced. As for the second and bigger asterisk, Xavier Campbell is comfortably the biggest incompetent to walk the halls at EFC in the past decade plus. His list of appointments whose careers ended at Essendon is probably in excess of a dozen. Names that have been banished from the game; or attained significantly lower status jobs within the industry; or the occasional boys club job (ie the Richo’s and Rob Kerr’s of the world). I can’t think of a single Campbell appointment that was a success? Can you?
