That was very raw. I actually thought she was going to say she was pregnant with her lover’s child. The fact he never once lost his cool or composure, at hearing, from his facial expressions and mannerisms. This truly broke him. You could actually see he was gutted by her revelation(s). Infidelity is one thing. But I wonder how she’d have reacted, had the shoe been on the other foot? I do not think for a second, that she’d have been as forgiving as he was😢💔 This was a fantastic short. The scene, setting and production? Was so well done. It’s as if we, the audience. Were in the room with them. But my heart broke for this man as well😢 He’s obviously loyal, but too, content. It’s not like he’s not an attractive man? It’s quite the opposite. I’d love to see a follow up. Where she has moved out, and moved on. But fast forward a year. I’d have hoped her ex partner, would then too be in a relationship. But one where he questions, whether or not, he was ever happy with her? I honestly think this would be a wonderful concept. That shows realistic situations. That the grass, isn’t always greener, type of situation. On another note; I have been totally addicted to each and every short you have produced, Blake. So it actually caught me off guard, when I seen you had used two new actor’s. It was really refreshing to see, and watch. Another great production and masterpiece! Well done to everyone involved!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Not even close. Of course it depends on the individual and what's been vested into the relationship. I've been married 2x. Just married my 3rd after being together 25 years. First marriage he had an affair with the shop secretary. We amicably departed after I cleaned out our bank account and took him for everything we had accrued. Oh, and one child from that marriage. 2nd marriage he just couldn't help himself. He was 4th generation oil, (married love first, second for money) two more children and he's currently in Nigeria married to a girl younger than our daughters. Moral: it's bull that it was only a phone tossed then nighty night.

Beautifully shot and wonderful performances! Quiet, understated, human. Nice job! I do wish that there was more of an arc to the story, though. It's fine for shorts to be open ended, but as it stands it feels more like a vignette or scene than a short film. Also, looks like this was shot in a hotel room? A bit of production design to make it feel like a lived in bedroom would have added a little kiss of realism.

This basically just dialogue right out of a soap opera. It's just missing the psychological headlamps towards the audience to keep them hanging on through the commercials. Not sure why she's there if she's in love with someone else. A conversation like this makes me think it would happen while she's packing her bags.

Well, THAT was hard to watch and I know what it is to forgive a woman who's violated the trust in our relationship. But once she said she screwed him, that's a definite NO for me. I may still love you but I'm taking my love elsewhere. His reaction was a trigger for me in the same way Boyz 2 Men "End of the Road" song does. I can love you... But I'm no simp. As you can see this short has fostered strong emotions in me... Good shit. 🤣..

This was too bland. Reminded me of SNL skit spoken with an accent. Was waiting for his girlfriend to show up from under the bed. By the end she was so bored with this. His begging, her back turned as if it's his fault. What a funny sad short. 😅😥
