5:40 That F2P bot, the magers one, is owned by one of the people who usually wear guilded in the CWs. He has hundreds of accounts, if not even more. He has numerous 126cmb accounts that he did the same thing to. I spoke to him before. It’s been about a year or so so I don’t remember his name. But I hung out with them and he used to basically NS attack anyone who attacked his friends there with the 50+ 126 cmb accounts.

The reason there are 2 different variations of the graceful cape (and all other graceful items) is to do with the weight-reducing effect. Graceful only gives negative weight when worn, not while in the inventory. For this reason, when you wear any graceful item, it will actually put a different variation (with negative weight) in your equipment, than what you had in your inventory. When taking it off, it normally does the opposite. Removing the penguin suit likely has some kind of stall that messes with the order these things are meant to happen in.

Come to think of it, this is also true for max capes (ONLY the plain one though, because it gives the -4 kg from agility cape). This means someone could have abused this same bug with max cape, and sold them back to Max for 1,821,600 coins each.

Honestly, I think that the guy that reported the bug, recorded it, and gave the information to Jagex instead of abusing it should be given lifetime membership. This sorta thing would have taken a few days for the Jagex team to notice if abused heavily and that is literally billions of exploited gold that isn't being put into the market. Sure, the guy would have been banned for doing it but that is potentially a lot of damage to the market.

Was banking at wintertodt today and witnessed 6-8 nearly maxed accounts teleport in at the same tick. All wearing karils, fang, and amulet of torture. Most were level 122 combat with insane corp kc. Some had 5k+ corp kc. They bank at wintertodt then all teleport out on the same tick. Sorry if you’ve already checked out this farm, just thought it was wild.

Before destroy item was embedded on quest items (in place of the drop option) or achievement/milestone specific items (like mining gloves, or agility outfit parts) I found a bug with the Chalice of Eternity. If you dropped it on the ground at the Camelot teleport area it would place the Chalice on the ground, but you could pick it up twice. Not that it had any practical use, I reported it and left the Chalices on my account for someone to login and see what was going on. I found a similar bug during Murder Mystery (at the Sinclair Mansion), I used it to dupe Anna's silver necklace-I thought it was a pretty cool looking item, but reaching the end of the quest destroyed all instances of the item, the one I had in my inventory was removed, the one in my bank was removed, and the one I was wearing also disappeared. I don't think anything like this is possible anymore, since most quest items are only allowed for removal with destroy item, back before OSRS maybe if you dropped the dupes on the ground before finishing the quest maybe you would be able to pick them up after whatever cleanup code is ran on your inventory/bank to remove quest items.

If the bug was possible with any cape, not just graceful, it could be exploited a lot further. Easy clue unique capes could tank in price, infernal capes could be duped then traded in for the pet and/or tokkul to buy stuff from tzhaar shops

My only experience with a “dupe” was getting all the pouches again after having a colossal pouch. This was possible if your colosal pouch degraded. The weird thing was though if you put essence in one pouch and then put more essence in a colosal pouch, the game would just delete the essence you put in the first pouch. And then Visa versa

I was high alching earth battlestaves the other day, somehow I equipped one while the "click the item to high alch" prompt was up, sat and stared at my fire staff now in my inventory for easily 15 seconds thinking what the hell, clicked another battlestaff, it alched it and the earth staff was still equipped. There was a bug I found that only worked in GWD and you could only dupe unnoted potions and even then I think it was just server to user delay going overboard. I tried it with coins and other stackable items but could never pull it off with anything other than potions; regardless I submitted it to Jagex and didn't try again

Could you comment on the blood shard thieving bots in the house next to the darkmeyer teleport? They are incredibly easy to spot, you can view the inside of the building and look at their name before entering and triggering their auto log. Just world hop outside of the building and there's usually one on whatever world you end up on. Their auto log out/hop trigger seems to be the 2nd room that's a kitchen. They will fight you to keep the final rooms door open if they log on to your world if you were there first. 1 in most stats, 120+ thieving usually.

Revenant hobgoblin bot farm. Combats range from mid 50s-low 70s with almost no skills trained other than animal mag reqs. Blue-red-black dhide with snakeskin caps, msbs, rune arrows. Pretty sophisticated and difficult to kill with auto pray switch's and certain pathing when a skulled player or anyone with mage gear is in screen. They even fight back and msb spec if you're low enough hp. I've reported 100+.

To be honest the group iron man bug doesn’t really matter besides the RWT part, it’s people paying to get their group iron men ahead but they lose their ranked status so it doesn’t effect the high scores. It’s basically iron men who have given up or want to have more fun with friends 🤷‍♂️ once u realize they’re unranked they have nothing to gloat about because unranked group iron men can invite regular iron men to their groups anyways so whether they use an old ironman account to get the gear or buy it off another ironman makes no difference.

already a video on it, forgot who by or the name but it was a guy who ran a bunch of accounts manually and then made them explode to kill people in wildy. It was a cool video but super inefficient and lost him like tens of milllions of gp, as well as multiple weeks worth of time. And at one point a bunch of accounts were banned for being suspected of botting, even though they werent botted.

I found a huge bot farm killing lava dragons in wildy a few days ago. I killed a bunch and the bot farm owners got on and double teamed me. I got a screenshot of the owners name and some of the bots. Where do I send their info into?

I have the Runelite bot detector add in. Is it just based off stats? It says Sir Pugger is 34% unknown bot (which would be a real plot twist) and I am 2% unknown bot. I actually noticed it dropped down from 3% after leveling up my construction recently.

as honest as this guy/girl is, it's not they who made the mistakes. That belongs to whoever QA tests the code that the developers push. An implementation could be put in place that a unique reward should go to the players who report these bugs. That way there is more incentive to do so.

this is exactly why i play rs3 instead of osrs. put so many many hours into osrs to still be behind 10000s of bots. but in rs3 i can gain exp just as fast as any bot and got 99s fast so now i can move onto the actual game . osrs is ruined. 120k players online maybe 5k actual people. i looked at the feedback on a gold selling site and for every rs3 purchase there mustve been 20-30 osrs purchases of large magnitude. theres hundreds to thousands of osrs players everyday buying capes, stats and gp. osrs being better has always been a myth
