Awesome. Just changed all my 2 stroke Husq gear to battery this week. The detachable line cutter. Blower. Chainsaw. And an attachable trimmer that can attach to my line cutter. So far very happy with them. I have 3 large batteries, I believe I'll need to buy 2 more batteries during spring/summer. All equipment has as good if not better power than its fuel cousin. Very light. So quick to start. No 2 stroke fuel fumes. A big saving on Fuel. Less maintenance. Great channel too mate. From New Zealand.

*I may get one of these, I usually stay away from battery equipment but this one looks like it runs for a long time on a charge. My stihl km130 with the 145 degree articulating hedge trimmer attachment is pretty heavy but my arms are pretty big now from using it all the time.*

Excellent machine for seasonal growth. We have 4 of them plus 1 telescopic 520iht4. The 536lihe3 \520ihe3's do not last for commercial use. The 520iht4 telescopic has a brushless motor the 520ihe3 does not. Our latest, burned out in 16 weeks. I have 3 of them in the shop again as of today. Husqvarna has been very good warranting or replacing them. Our business uses them about 90% of the time 10% gas. I'm forced to go back to gas units until the problem is resolved.

Still not sold on battery powered tools! Smooth and quiet they maybe but petrol gives me full power till the last drop. Only takes a few seconds to refuel too! For fine stuff I use the Husqvarna 122HD60 & the Husqvarna 522HDR75X for the big stuff. For long reach, I use the Husqvarna 535LK pro combi and it's a beast with multiple attachments! Obviously heavier but gives you the power to do almost anything!

Key is to have at least 2 batteries.. Empty? Just switch and charge the other. by the time its empty again, the first battery will be full again..

Loved the video. You seem happy with the Husqvarna, because if you weren’t, we’d hear about it. We would expect to, given your honesty. You have a really nice place, and Tank and Bella are so adorable. I find it funny that you, as a veteran (I’m figuring Top Sergeant) have Yorkies. I would expect you to have Dobermans or Shepherds. Perhaps they were the choice of the missus. But they do love you. By the way, Bella eating grass is a not too subtle way to telling you she’d like a biscuit. And the most interesting thing is that you take of your customers the same (if not better) than yourself. By the way, the trimmer weighs the same as the M1 Garand. Again, a most entertaining video.

How is its performance after all thsese years? Are you still using it and with the same battery?
@lloydhlavac68075 жыл бұрын
Great review video. Thanks! I am looking in to switching at least some equipment to battery as I replace old stuff. Mainly whatever is breaking down, wearing out. It was still full charge after you trimmed that loropetalum, but I didn't hear you mention if you know how long the battery on that trimmer lasts before needing a recharge. And any idea how much an extra battery costs? Out on the job I might be trimming for quite a long time just in one day. I'm also interested in a battery backpack blower, but the only one I have seen that might be worth getting For commercial work is Oregon Tool's 120v back pack blower.

Do you still have and use this trimmer? If not what did you switch too? If you still have it can you run a tape measure next the unit head to toe and post some numbers for me please? I want to compare to the Milwaukee quik lok I just got which deals combersome and super heavy. I think it is due to the distribution and length of the overall tool. Can you measure the following: - center of trigger to tip of blade - center of trigger to bottom of adjustment collar for the blade - Center of trigger all the way back to the tip of handle Those will be great and super helpful.
@cue033 жыл бұрын
I think you may also actually have the mikwaukee system and to compare.

Hey Johnny does it trim as good as echos cuz you know echos are kings for hedge trimmers cuz they leave a nice crisp and tight cut all the time here in Miami we do tons and tons of hedges daily our echos are pretty light weight cuz we use the 225 engines and our Articulated ones come with the 2620 engines but we swapt them to 225 engines to make them even lighter

I don’t like battery powered trimmers as they are not reliable for me as I have had them in the past & I use gas as I just buy the cheap enough power heads & use my cheap attachment & im good to go as IF other people like it good for them but not me..dogs eat grass to settle their stomach but if the grass is treated I would not let them eat it as they can get sick from it & put a little bit of pumpkin in their food and then they will be all good as pumpkin in a can does the same thing as grass does for settling down the dogs stomach..
