Someone kicked a Golden Retriever so hard until he almost died.

Right after rescuing Masik from this video:
• Homeless dog fights us... (1.8 million views).
We received another call on the Hope For Paws emergency line. A Golden Retriever was laying down for many hours, unresponsive, and Loreta Frankonyte and I knew it was an emergency.
Of course, there was no way for us to know how badly he was injured (nothing was visible), but we could tell that something was wrong internally.
After the rescue, we named him Antonio, and rushed to see Dr. Pedraza.
He told us that looking at the ultrasound images, it looks like he was kicked really hard. He didn't believe that the dog was hit by a car because there were no signs of that - no road rash, no broken bones, no visible trauma that is always present in cases where dogs are hit by cars... it was a hit that injured his liver and spleen.
Because of the injury, Antonio was bleeding internally, and the doctor told us that if we didn't get to him that day, he would have bled internally and would have died within hours.

Areyou serious: Dogs have actually been genetically bred to not discriminate. They were bred to love everyone and everything, whether a person, a duck, a goose, a kitten, a horse. It's literally in their blood. Every dog owner knows hos forgiving p they can be. Even rescued fighting dogs can re-learn. :)

I watched some guy kick a dog once, so I kicked him and took his dog. I had that dog for four years before I found a big horse farm for him, he spent the rest of his life on that farm playing with horses. You guys need a dolly . Harbor freight has them for like 10 bucks. You can set the cage on it to roll and set it to the side for travel. He is such a handsome boy ❤️

Tarun that's unfortunate, it's left you with fear and unfounded suspicions of all animals. It was yiur guardians' fault for not watching over you properly. You're missing out on something that can be very rewarding, companion animals. Interesting though, that you don't see simple avoidance as your first choice for safety, you saw violence because you're afraid and traumatized. You could use some systematic desensitization. I also would ask you why you visit HFP, if you have a compulsive aversion to dogs?

I wish I could donate more but I hope what I did help a few human companionship. I'm a dog lover and have two rescues of my own. Always remember to put your companion in your will do that they are cared for when your gone. I know my dogs Sonnie and Max won't be homeless and hungry. They are 20% of my life insurance beneficiary and I have specific instructions for their rest of their lives. They are my family and I love my babies to the moon and back. I promise to keep donating as long as I have left in this world living with metastatic breast cancer stage four and now it's in my bones. Thank you for all you do to help these Angels 😇💖

I got my dog from my grandparents. My grandfater wasn't that nice and had a drinking problem which led to aggression. He hit the dog when he was drinking. My dog is 7 years and we have him for 4 years now. Our dog was born in a dark and dirty house. Since he was a pup I've a strong bond and the 4 years he's with us he's happy and living his best live. I've had a bad youth with school and stuff that happened and I know what kind of pain he felt when he was little. He's always scared to lose us and can only sleep and get rest when everybody is home. When I move out and have a own place i take the dog with me, because i'll always be there for him and giving the love and comfort he needs and deserves. Sorry for my bad English, I'm from the Netherlands.
