Hello Lauren! I have always looked at the guitar and the piano as percussion instruments some what, because there's a hitting action, I want to learn that song properly, and by the way you have a great voice.
@LaurenBateman4 жыл бұрын
Yes, the guitar can be used percussive as well. I talk about this a little bit in my guitar course: www.laurenbateman.com/subscriptions

@@LaurenBateman Yes especially a rhythm guitarist who would be some what of a time keeper for the rest of the band, if you wanted to look at it as such. Incidentally, I found Adele's song on KZbin, now I can do a play along with her and learn that song.

Im a beginner.I have problem moving my fingers fast.It takes me few seconds to get next chords..Very good lesson! I just started 3 months ago.Keep feeding us more lessons 😂

You need a little more muscle memory on the chords. When you can change chords with your eyes closed, you will see an improvement in speed.

@@LaurenBateman Have not seen many of your videos but what I see I truly enjoy. Have you taught any spider walks or rolls? I've been playing 35 years I learn something every day. Songs I no longer work so much you know after a while you just hear something you like and it just comes to you. Well me anyway I learned by a old chord chart a radio and my ears. Beautiful person inside and out. As always thank you for teaching others and your time and commitment. I've learned a few things from you and refer you to others. I suffer from depression and don't teach anymore. As well as a loner. You are beautiful and a beautiful soul. Such a wonderful person and personality. You make me feel better when I'm down. I see a beautiful lady who loves and enjoys what she does. I can't thank you enough for myself and others. I'm going through a rough time now but when I see daylight again I don't have much or can do anything special but I subscribe and maybe I can send a donation sometime.

It's a beautiful song, thank you for the lesson. I want to learn how to strum an acoustic guitar so that I can play and sing along. I don't know which guitar to buy and I don't know which guitar course to sign up for. Can you point me in the right direction?

Lauren good lesson !!, I think you should do a VLOG or ten... Perhaps switch it up. Get in your car go drive around and tell us about yourself let us know who you are as a person. Then come back and do some more cool teaching vids.

I think it would a whole lot easier for me to follow you with the notes if you could leave on the top of the screen the notes being used for the song.
@LaurenBateman4 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, there is only so much space on the screen I cannot do the whole song at once. Are you saying leave them up longer for each section?
