You should really check out "Sometimes I Cry." Live, because Chris is one of those rare performers that's actually better live. I think you can find one that's either Austin City Limits or Bing Lounge. That one is a gut punch of emotion. SO phenomenal.

Your comment about him getting something out that he needed to - he wrote so many songs for others and it was his wife Morgane (a talented songwriter and performer herself) who pushed him to put himself out there as a singer. He had terrible stage fright, which is why you'll see him look over at her throughout his performances, to ground himself - and she never takes her eyes off him.
