I was groomed as a young teenager, too. The guy was like this "cult leader" too, he was this guy in his 20s who claimed to be a vampire. When this story first broke, I was saddened by everyone just automatically assuming the accuser was lying, going "hard evidence" this, "hard evidence" that. When I was groomed, I didn't even know that what was happening to me WAS grooming, that's the entire reason why guys target young girls for that purpose. Also, it happened before the internet was a widespread thing. How could I be expected to go back and get evidence of that? It's absurd to expect young girls to have the foresight and the wherewithal to automatically mistrust someone they're close to and record every single interaction with everyone, just in case. And it's not like the internet doesn't have a marked history of being misogynistic and disregarding most victims without even bothering to hear their story. But watching this video, all I feel is a pit in my stomach. If it's all fabricated, that's so incredibly damaging to people like you and me. Because this is so high profile, It just means more victims will be ignored and even flat out turned against by the masses, something I know can be more than enough to drive them to do something drastic, like...um... "Self Crit" (thanks youtube for taking away our voices and not able to mention important topics). It's hard not to feel hopeless in the face of all this.

@duukn The video itself IS evidence of a crime. You don't need to be speaking to the police, for the NDA to be voided. (English is not my main language, sorry for the spelling/grammar mistakes) I'm a CSA survivor, I was abused by a member of my family for years until I left my home and cut ties with my entire family at 18. When I discovered Mamamax's channel, it was almost a revelation. Finally! someone was giving a shit about us, someone who didn't care about the bad buzz or the backlash, he was going all in for us no matter what. His videos were extremely cathartic for me, I never got justice because when I went to the police station at 21 years old to file a complaint I didn't have any evidence or proof of what happened, the abuse had happened a decade ago, I didn't have any pictures or videos or anything other than my testimony with me. Ultimately, it was my word against my abuser's and my complaint was dismissed. I knew it would happen, I was devastated anyway. So his style of editing, with the violent imagery of Hotline Miami and the baseball bats and the fact that, maybe, the guys in his videos were getting what they deserved calmed my anger for a little while because God knows I dreamt of doing it to my abuser more times than I can count. Now I feel used. I feel like my trauma was used for fame and recognition, that our stories were only there to feed his ego and his online persona. That behind every CSA survivor was a potential ego boost for him. Knowing that he lied, probably created things and made us believe it was true just... I was going to write "disappoint me" but we're way past disappointment. I kinda feel numb. And stupid for putting my trust in a random stranger on the internet, enough to subscribe to his Patreon for a year and give him money just to deceit us. Of course it was too good to be true. I was blinded by my trauma and my need for justice like many others and he took advantage of this to build an entire fanbase. It's sick. I feel sick.

BECAUSE YOU’RE THE ONE BREAKING THE STORY! Max is the bringing this story to the forefront and shedding light on it. He’s the one supposedly talking to the victims, he is the one supplying the information here. He made the choice to take on the story as his project. For him to ask why it’s his job has to be one of the most incompetent things he has said throughout this. And then for him to try to brush off that responsibility and say he’s only the first one to talk about it but doesn’t want to be the only one to talk about it… dude… you are the one talking to the victims, you are the one pushing this story, and you’re not giving any information. Besides Spencer’s account of what happened with her, there is no information about any of this for people to work with, and that’s because you didn’t give any. Now it all makes sense to me. Because before this whole shit show, I felt like I was waiting for the ball to drop or something. Max put out the first video about it, and when I watched it, I came out feeling like that wasn’t the story, but just a precursor to it. It felt more like a teaser trailer. He identified Camden and made the claims but didn’t actually give information about what happened. I came out of it feeling like it didn’t really “begin” yet. Now I know it’s because Max himself didn’t even know any information. He really made 3 whole videos about it without even fully knowing the ins and outs of the story himself.

"ChatGPT understands the legal system" Is the funniest thing I've heard anyone say in a long time. LegalEagle made a video on this ages ago. Actual lawyers have been disbarred for using ChatGPT, because ChatGPT will regularly just make up cases and cite them as sources in legal arguments. ChatGPT does not "understand the legal system." It doesn't "understand" anything. Half the time it's basically just procedurally generating actual gibberish.

Which is also funny considering Max had a whole bit about the dangers of AI contributing to exploitation. I mean, what do you expect from the guy who believes someone's MEMORY is enough to warrant as evidence?
@henrikhumle725511 ай бұрын
Well, obviously Max operates on the principle of "rules for thee, not for me." In other words, his warnings about AI don't seem to apply when he's the one using it. And just to reiterate in case anyone's wondering; ChatGPT *cannot provide* effective legal counseling. It has been caught literally just fabricating cases and precedents. AI "hallucinations" are a fascinating but alarming issue that is rarely spoken of, even though a lot of people are excitedly rushing to implement AI tools and solutions into all aspects of everyday life. As an educator myself, I genuinely worry that the views expressed by Max - that AI can and should be trusted even in cases where its use is of real consequence to real people - are gaining a lot of traction; particularly among the young crowd that he appeals to, who seem increasingly convinced that you barely need any education whatsoever when an app can generate solutions for you.@@rnpee

He took and continues to take advantage of sexual abuse victims to line his pockets. As a r*pe victim myself, I feel incredibly betrayed and heartbroken. He ACTIVELY took money from REAL victims while parading around a hero complex that was undeserved. He revictimized thousands of people. He stole money from victims and made us feel used and vulnerable all over again. I genuinely have the same pit in my stomach that I feel when thinking about my r*pe. Max said originally KZbin was a way for him to learn editing to become a filmmaker. I believe his very first ped-hunter video was intended to be completely fiction, but when realizing people thought it was real and liked it, he ran with it and had to lie to cover himself. After that, he half-assed it. He might have looked into things, but was never seriously into the investigation as much as the filmmaking. He has a huge ego, which has lead him to where he is now. I think he’s really enjoyed all the praise he has garnered from “all the work he’s done”. His inability to see where it’s all gone wrong with this last situation is maddening. *1 Edit for spelling.

It's absolutely killing me how many people still don't get that there is no "cult" here. The entire thing is a fiction invented for his "films." The fact that he's never once provided a single bit of actionable evidence against ANY predators and has admitted that everything he's shown in his videos (the IMVU shit, the Discord server, etc) were all made up makes it super fucking obvious that Spencer, who remember is a LIFELONG FRIEND OF HIS, is just someone in on the act. That's it. There's no cult. No trafficking. No big ring. It's all bullshit for views.
@midnightmaniacs754911 ай бұрын
Part of the issue is that these are serious topics that shouldn’t be held under a dramatic light, especially with a tone that’s taken seriously. He’s going on about allegations as if these have actually happened if they haven’t and these things are serious and do affect real people almost every day. Even assuming these didn’t happen he doesn’t say anything to suggest this is all fictitious, and his tone and accusations alone are very serious even in a fake manner. So cult or no cult, real or not, he either doesn’t have any real solid evidence to back up his claims, or he’s essentially making light of a serious thing that’s still going on and should actually be stopped.
@OLDMANWAFFLES11 ай бұрын
I’ve said this many times before but this is coming from a man who admitted that he uses CHATGPT as a lawyer, including for the purpose of writing the nda he posted in fucking discord, and is using that to apparently start an international lawsuit to sue Muta. He lied about a girl getting SA’d and killed, doxxed Camdan’s family, admitted he lied about every case he’s every worked on, he admitted he’s never caught a single predator, he accused a fellow KZbinr Magnetar of being a ped0 because he was dating a girl max really liked so he fabricated “evidence” and took the words as just that, he’s alleging that testimony is evidence and nothing further is needed even though 5 girls came out and said he’s abusive and he denies that, he also houses Spencer and she’s a close family friend (conflict of interest) and she’s the money manager of this Camdan operation, he also made an entire song detailing that he wants predators to give him head, and there’s just too much to list it’s really bad. I wouldn’t go as far as to say there’s no survivors of this alleged human being, but he’s ruined the whole case against Camdan if there was one to begin with, and he’s given Camdan and his family the ability to build a defamation case against him for what he’s done with doxxing/inciting harassment with no evidence.

Here's what I think: I think Max literally has little to no evidence and the reason why he wanted the big KZbinrs to cover Spencer's story was so he could use their influence and reputation to give her story credibility without having to be verified. He basically wanted to use those KZbinrs influence and credibility to hide his lack of evidence and hoped people would take it as fact without checking. Ofcourse there's also the fact he wanted those KZbinrs to also drive traffic to his and subsequently Spencer's channels and boosting their clout, which is equally scummy
