So it spat an entirely fake case that was formatted and real enough to get lawyers to submit it in a brief. It can easily spit out fake laws that are formatted and verbally/grammatically sound like the US Code, but if you look it up in the US Code its not there. And I would just rather look through the US Code or Google "is X illegal" (because the Google results are almost always abunch if different law firms answering some variation of the question) than trust an AI that now has a history of faking things, and faking them very well I think Emily also covered the defamation law suit against chatGPT because the AI spit out a legal case (or police report ? something like that) to a journalist that said So-And-So had done all these bad things and so the journalist talked about it when in reality those claims were 100% made up by the AI. If anything trusting an AI that can fake things well is more dangerous and stupid then trusting AI that spits out obvious fakes. Anyways that was a random tangent, did any of them report the actual sanctions the judge gave? Because back when I watched it the judge hadn't sanctioned them yet.

There have been verified police reports released (from I think Kai? I’d have to look again) accusing Camden of forcible rape. I understand there’s still a chance that it could possibly have been a false report but reading the entire event from the perspective of the officer who investigated it, the police seem either completely incompetent or too lazy to properly conduct investigations. It’s even stated in the report that Camden was verified to have lied about where he was on the day of the rape, then admitted to the officer that he talked to his friend after his first interview with the detective, whom the detective then called and just believed the alibi they were given and immediately closed the case without any results of the SAEK ever having been presented. Camden is verifiably guilty of some heinous shit, but Spencer lying and embellishing her story just for clicks is going to ruin the case for all the victims who ARENT being given a platform and free room and board and a shitload of money.

I will say one thing about Pokemon, the biggest thing limiting the quality of the games is the fact they're commited to the yearly release path, assumedly so all of the TCG, VGC, anime, merch, etc. can line up just right, meaning the games aren't really given the development time they deserve. Most recently, S/V began development in late 2019 before being released late 2022, so effectively 3 years of development. Compare that to the Zelda games on Switch that were each in development for 5-6 years, no wonder Pokemon comes out underbaked, especially considering S/V was the first time on of their games was truly open world. 3 years probably isn't enough time to sort out all the logistical issues, hence you getting things like the game chugging when your camera faces the center of the map. Also add in that they've been pretty against outsourcing development of mainline titles, not sure how much longer they can get away with that. I know for a fact that there has been internal discussion on the quality of the games, Nintendo themselves were even like "yeah, this game's kinda low quality", and if leaks are to be believed, we aren't getting another BDSP sort of game. It's a bit of a shame, Scarlet and Violet are quite fun when everything's flowing correctly, a lot of the new things they introduced are pretty neat, but the performance takes away so so much from the experience. Hopefully Palworld's sorta lit a fire under their asses. Also don't slander Appletun like that (Flapple's the one with apple wings btw)

I really just wish we had taken the lessons from TCAP and never made predator poaching content ever again. So many cases get ruined by the involvement of these types. I've also always felt like these types of media takes advantage of victims of CSA and uses their traumas for content. It's not just the pdfs they use for the content, it's the heinous nature of their crimes. It's kind of like the audience gets to feel justice being served even if it actually isn't.

One of the best parts from when Nux talked about how he falsely accused Taiga of grooming someone, that was actually stalking Taiga themselves and was almost double Taiga’s age by the way, was that he still used the term “allegedly”. Which just confirms that he STILL hasn’t fact checked or done any further research since then, which he PROMISED that he would after Taiga reached out to him MULTIPLE TIMES over the last couple YEARS by the way. That’s already one of the scummiest things that he’s done to Taiga without even mentioning that those fact checks and further research weren’t the only things that he promised him because he ALSO promised a follow up apology to Taiga that never actually happened, outside of a pinned comment on a video that’s 2-3 years old that was unpinned. Unless Nux comes out and publicly apologizes to Taiga, this half-assed response won’t make up for him slandering Taiga’s name to hundreds of thousands of people. This won’t make up for how much of a colossal piece of sh** he is.

19:00 if anyone's wondering who Nexpo is referring to one of the friends Max did this to is Nightdocs. Nightdocs was in their friend group and let Max live with him for free for months and when Max moved out he told their friends (including Muta and Nexpo) that Nightdoc doesn't take care of his kids and that he's a pedo, obviously he said all this without any evidence. The friends then distanced themselves from Nightdocs and he never knew why and thought that their was something wrong with him and it caused him to spiral. Muta and Nexpo have since apologized and Nightdocs seems to be doing better now.

The whole discussion about Palworld is really just this. Me and a close friend of mine had this discussion about its success and the one thing they mentioned applies to the whole convo at 1:19:00. Those Pokemon fans who grew up playing Pokemon are teens and adults now, something like turn based combat and really kiddie mechanics and aesthetics aren't exactly gonna satiate their preferences anymore. And that's why Palworld succeeds. It's catered to a more older demographic specifically instead of it being catered to kids first.
