I gave my son up for adoption in 1992 & it was one of the hardest most horrific things my heart ever endured. These stories always make me cry. My son just turned 30 & he found me in 2015. Our journey has just begun together, just how it started 30 years ago. Well wishes on your new journey.

My husband was adopted 73 years ago. He decided when we was 55 that he was ready to find his birth mom. We found her 2 weeks later and met her. I thanked her for bringing my husband into the world healthy. She cried when she saw him and when he told her he had a wonderful childhood with loving parents. Her father had sent her away to have the baby as he was a minister. God had a hand in the adoption thru word of mouth a baby was born that needed a family. My mother in law was unable to have a baby and it was her doctor that made the connection. My husbands aunt picked him up from the hospital the next day. My husband is a loving family man that was thankful to meet his birth mom before she passed away. Love appears when you least expect it.

Wow I wish our adoption story was like this. I had horrible endometriosis and adenomyosis so I had to get a hysterectomy and get well before we could get into an adoption agency. We have been with the agency for 6 years and on the waiting list for 5 years, but finally got the call on Sept 13th, got to meet the birth mom on the 14th and our baby girl came on the 15th....we had 3 days to get in order and boom we were parents, finally.

My parents ostensibly believed that children are from God. They had six but then treated us as burdens. It warms my heart to see a family truly desire children, to welcome them with open, grateful arms and to cherish a little girl. My parents had been hoping for a boy with me and the disappointment was palpable my entire childhood. I genuinely had a hard time believing something like this was possible, for a family with two girls to joyously welcome a third, but clearly it is. I am a Birth mother who gave up my children for adoption. I know the heartache and the guilt and the happiness and all the other emotions that this birth mom is going through right now. I am 100% praying for her and her mental health as I know how strong she is...even if she doesn't feel it. Please know I feel her emotions and I am praying for her. My 2 babies are now 12 and 9 and yet it still feels like it was yesterday that I signed my rights away and gave them up. So many emotions watching this video. What an amazing blessing for your family. God knew the path for this beautiful baby and for the Sommers family. In the moments of sadness loosing great grandma, we are reminded of the amazing miracles our Lord provides daily with the birth of his children. Our family has been praying for your family from your first post about your new addition to the family. In that we pray for the birth mother. My dad a pastor, who I have shared your stories with, Dad and mom. Before this video we had already placed your families name on our prayer request for our Thanksgiving Service this weekend. In that prayer we will pray for this sweet child’s birth mother. We have had our congregation pray for your family whenever you have asked for prayers along with the recent passing of great grandma. I’m battling brain cancer and we watching every episode with my family for years. I share your vlogs with patients and this new blessing given to your family gives us another reason to be thankful this Thanksgivings Weekend. May we continue to pray for the wonderful things God has done in our lives and even on the hardest days we know miracles, love mercy and grace are shown each day by our loving God. Thank you Sommers family for being such a blessing in my life and to the many others who truly feel blessed by watching your family each week. For me and many others who are struggling physically, emotionally, and for me I’m using a non covered medication to keep fighting it’s the prayers of many, the kindness of others and watching families like yours that step forward and offer a place of comfort and support that is so wonderful. I also had HG with my pregnancies . I’m so happy for you guys 💜 sometimes I feel like I’m not done having kids but I can’t imagine going through sickness and picclines again. This gave me a lot of hope

I always had a dream to adopt, but would guard my heart and put it aside because my husband wasn't on board..about a year ago, after 13 years of praying and waiting, he finally surrendered his life to Christ. Yesterday out of blue he asked me if I would want for us to adopt😭😭😭he said he's been thinking about it for a while, and he would love to grow our family that way. God is sooo amazing🙏 we live in France, and we would love to adopt from our home country Armenia. Please pray for us, cause the paperwork and regulations are so overwhelming. But God is faithful and he is our rock. He will finish every good work that he has started in us🙏
