I first knew him as the lead of Roxy Music....he`s one of that incomparable generation of British musicians who influenced Rock and Pop for the last half century or more. We should listen to them while they`re still with us....

Meeting your wife was the best thing that ever happened to you. Discovering Bryan Ferry's music is the second best. Sublime.

Great reaction! I love watching these 🙂 I've seen Bryan perform this up close three times live on stage. Every time is incredible. The last time I watched it I was due to meet him back stage after the show. He normally does this song towards the end of his playlist and never fails to do it as fans expect it at every show and he gives it his all. By then he's covered in sweat literally dripping in sweat. I waited for him after he did Jealous Guy and Virginia Plain and just 30 minutes later was astonished to see him appear in a long over coat with his hair all styled blow dried and a formal suit on. He looked like an aristocratic business tycoon. Was hard to believe it was the same guy on stage. He really pays attention to his image and look. Very cool guy and super friendly softly spoken and quiet, very humble.

I've been listening to him since circa 1984. Very unique sound. I would say the best word to describe Bryan is Suave.

In the 70’s I was lucky to see Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music concert what a treat & saw Bryan with his current band few years back, great performer. If interested maybe react to Bryan Ferry with his current band & video “If There Is Something” & you will love the amazing sax player Jorja Chalmers she’s brilliant

Dude - you NEED to review Roxy Music so that you can appreciate their original sax player, maestro Andy Mackay. Like a Hurricane live from Frejus or A Song for Europe from the same show.

The man playing the interesting guitar is Chris Spedding, back in the 70,s he started a band called The Sharks , very good first 2 albums but band member disruptions caused him to go solo and collaborate with other bands thru the years. His main claim to fame is that he turned down the Rolling Stones to play with them in the mid 70,s

Love Brian but when he was whistling he reminded me of Roger Whittaker who apart from his beautiful singing you have got to checkout why he was called the whistler it will blow your mind!

The music was good but I am just saying my opinion because I am sensitive about that WoW on the video and expected to shake after watching it and I am not ☺️. So it didn't earn that WoW😶.

Poor Brian is still sad because Mick Jagger stole Jerry Hall from him after Brian said "Let's Stick Together" (1976). Then Jerry pays out by claiming she got Mick off heroin.

What garbage. I doubt Bryan Ferry thinks much about Jerry Hall at all. He's had a lot of girlfriends, lovers and wives since then. In any case, he's made a hell of a lot more great music than you ever have.

I completely disagree. Roxy's version was sublime.... made the song even better. It became more poignant after John's death. But each to their own.

You picked a poor version of this. A younger Bryan was so cool. However, I still prefer this song being sung by John Lennon.
