OMG, speaking of traffic on the highway, we had moved south of Chicago, years ago. On Saturday night, we saw lines and lines of traffic, going south and thought they must be evacuating Chicago! Turns out there was a race track a little further down. 😂

Give the California base camp a try. Might be okay for one year, few months. Suspect that the desert location has some nefarious characters, local or opportunists, therefore property needs to be occupied regularly. Have seen this need for many others who own remote property. Will probably be a nice base camp to explore the eastern Sierra. Not sure how far you can get and still day explore what you want. Fuel prices will be more!

San Bernardino forest has BLM 14 day was up there in June and used to snow ski up there a buch..even tho im from NH..need chains in winter and the wildfires sneak right up to the summet in summer..in fact this recent summer it got hard 2024.. its beautiful .i lived in Rivervsidevfew times..currently st Or coast..

My Bluetti DC to DC charger was working fine for about a month and then output voltage dropped. Tested it and my charging system voltage is good to the unit but only 6 volts output now. Looks like its time to return for warranty. 😢 Good luck, Matty.
