My wife and I have been watching you for a few years now and really enjoy your content. For the most part, you do all the same type of fishing we do up here in Wisconsin. One thing that I thought about recently was something you just ironically brought up in this video. I wondered how you almost always seem to be the only person at these beautiful dams and spillways. Yes Josh...we have to give credit where credit is due...Spencer's an AWESOME flathead man...and I will have to agree with him...being an almost EXCLUSIVE flathead man myself...smaller flatties will traumatize multiple (in my case bream) cause that's what I use for bait in N.C...baits in close proximity for some reason other than those in the 22-50lb. Range. Don't have a clue why that's so other than bigger flatties tend to have a zone out region for smaller baits because the bigger one tend to bite the bigger baits! That's my contribution to science....cause that's what I've found...hope this helps for what it's worth! To you anyways I guess...good luck! On your babies, and wife and also...WHEN YOU GONNA INVITE ME FISHING ALREADY!!!??? LOL 😆🤣😂

I often wonder why you don't fish in the deep water above the weirs you fish. I can understand fishing the spillway below as there's often big fish waiting in places like that and higher levels of dissolved oxygen. Just wondering if above the weir would be any good?

I fell 30 feet in my mid thirties and I was fully disabled so I was home all the time and all my neighbors were retired and smoked so after smoking to be cool in high school I fell back into cigarettes on and off for 13 years I quit every year for as much as a year to a couple of weeks and then I was smoking 4 cigarettes a day and said why am I doing this. For my 40th B’day I quit and that was 21 years ago and not a puff. 3 weeks is great and the longer you go the easier it gets. Things will start smelling and tasting better.

@PigPatrolTV, the flathead catfish is not the only fish that can invert its stomach out its mouth like that. All 540+ known shark species are capable of this feat as well. They do it when stressed or to get rid of indigestible material in their stomachs, and can swallow their stomachs again without harm.

Stomach eversion is usually either a response to eating something toxic (sometimes undigestable) or it can be used as a defense strategy. Also, being opportunistic feeders, fish will rid themselves of the last thing they ingested just to eat the next thing to come along.

Marlin/sailfish/etc.. all puke up their stomachs as a defensive strategy. Gills are highly affected by acidity from stomach fluids, and also the attacker might go after whatever was is in their stomach. Yes if you can quit smoking please do . I'm 56 have cancer in my left lung and a tumor on the top of left lung bigger than my fist pressing on a nerve that goes to arm and spine and only have 20 percent use of my left arm and got horner's syndrome caused by the tumor. Please quit smoking found out March 25th of this year. Thanks for all of the great videos.
