I'm not one to judge but i wonder if there will be a story where the main guy is the dude who makes the rules, and then finds out that their employee messed it up in every single way possible.

This one was a cool one. In all my days with all the ghost stories and witness accounts. You always hear them say they dealt with the haunting for months or even years and then they had enough. Not one persons witnesses something and just says to themselves “Ill getting the gas can”. This was refreshing

I got chills when the cooler started leaking that weird black ooze and attacked them. The way the evil presence in the motel kept messing with the narrator was really unsettling. Motels are scary enough on their own, let alone a haunted one with bizarre rules. The ending with more locations gave me the shivers. Great scary story!

It always makes me unbelievably frustrated when the protagonist purposely breaks simple rules and ROYALLY FVCKS IT UP for the mentor/ employer/ etc. 😓these were literally the easiest set of rules I’ve heard in one of these stories. Literally easy money. He didn’t even have to contend with evil monsters on the daily. But NOOOOO, he just HAD to go to room 119 🙄🙄😣😑

While that was annoying that leak in the cooler wasn't his fault unless it was caused by the rule breaking.

Nicely read and produced, as ever. I didn't feel there was really a cohesive reason connecting the weird stuff in this one. You don't ever need to tell the reader what it is, but it helps if _you_ have a strong idea as the writer. (For example: big bad something lives inside, but they leave food out near the woods? And if the issue is an evil thing living in this particular location, what's scary about others opening?) After some editing for continuity (such as the rule about calling cleaning staff after a task, which seemed to be forgotten with all the cooler stuff, and the idea that the senior handyman has been investigating all this time but this is the first time he's noticed the ghostie is his daughter) this could work quite well.

so a woman or woman like cretaure was killed in room 119 by the owner , desmembered and burned or disolved in acid and placed in the cooler. Placing it in the kitchen probably allows someone to chop it up again and decrease its regenerative power as well as keeping it in the freezer. Also being aknowledged as existing seems to give it power. Most likely the owner is also a creature that is not human and one of the non-human employees it uses to keep the creature under control is a homocidal murderer. What I do not get is the why.

I can see one of two different possibilities that are easily apparent. One the hotel is a supernatural creature all to itself and they just helped it to reproduce. Two the hotel is a prison of sorts and it is a case of once it was destroyed it created copies to recapture the prisioner. I have other ideas one being that the hotel is a door of sorts and when it was destroyed it was forced into splitting up to try and stabilize the situation. Idea two the hotel was a kind of roach hotel for paranormal entities that once destroyed didn't necessarily free the captured entities but it did create a situation where it needed to create copies so it could keep capturing the paranormal entities. My next idea is that the hotel was a strange kind of stabilizer that the rules helped to keep the universe running properly. My last idea is that the hotel was kinda a monkey's paw kind of thing that gave you something in return it screwed with you.
