Yeah, he’s been amazing for sure. If you would have asked me a month ago, if I thought Francis was ever going to breakout and have the potential of becoming anything more then a long reliever, I would have laughed in your face. I’ve never been more than happy to be wrong. I hope he can keep this up and keep proving my past self wrong!

Jays need to callup Bloss and another young pitching prospect in September so they can benefit from being around Gausman, Bassitt and the other veteran tossers like Francis. Francis has the splitter now because of Gausman. They can the slerve from Berrios and the art of pitch selection from Bassit. Thats only if Atkins the clown doent have plans to trade them for utillity player that cant hit in the offseason.

@@DarkJediForce I agree, this young core is showing they can hit at least for now. So I agree the big thing is pitching. Ik months ago people were complaining that John Schneider is the reason that this team is losing, but I think Rogers should be getting rid of Atkins over Schneider, not saying that Schneider is the best manager, but he’s not the one who’s built this crappy team.

Bowden Francis last 4 games: 29 innings, 6 hits, 2 ER, 2 HR, 3 BB (all of them being against the Angels when he was 3 outs away from a no-hitter), 32 K and lowering his ERA from before those starts from 4.92 to 3.66. And one more thing he started one game before that against the Orioles pitching 5 innings, 3 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, and 7 K. He's been the best pitcher of August and no one is talking about it
