My first (and only so far) ebike was such a pile of crap that I let it sit for a while and so I put a whole 3 miles on it before it died. Customer service was atrocious and the company has folded. I rode it to the e-cycler and wrote it off as a loss. For that reason I don't think I'm going to touch Troxus with a ten-foot pole.

I would bet that it Hass to do with one of two things. First, they might feel that you have a conflict of interest since perhaps you make a bike that is very similar to theirs. Or second, they may be nervous about your KZbin presence. Either way, it doesn’t show a very high level of confidence in their product on their part. But those are the only two things I can think of that would separate your shop from someone else.

As a fellow Aventon dealer I would say you are better off with an established brand like Aventon, this year seems like there is going to be a lot of weird things in the ebike industry as some of the smaller brands shake out in this more competitive market.

Gotta say. Because no one else says it. Aventon is an overpriced joke. Mokwheel is a 100 X better brand than all I've dealt with so far. Aventon basically is a mokwheel. With half the goodies. Wish people would stop sleeping on mokwheel. I've owned a rad, an aventon, a super 73, and 3 lectrics. Sold them all as soon as I got a few mokwheels.

They might be collecting their product back in an attempt to prop up inventory for a sale of the company. It might look better for a potential buyer that there is a bunch of bikes in storage to start selling instead of having to deal with the manufacturer in china for product to sell. Hell, if the bikes aren't selling as it is then why not?

I never even heard of those e-bikes....... if I ever see one I would never buy it I don't give a s*** if it was the cheapest one for the money ever apparently you are honest and they are not... you look like you're feeling better that's good I remember you said you had some illness I ordered tubes and I had them in 2 days from California every time I buy something from California it sits somewhere for days and then all of a sudden it's in Buffalo and it's here and I appreciate it cuz I was going camping and I really needed extra tubes

Look at the past 43 years. Back in the 80's Mom and Pop stores were everywhere. Hardware stores, grocery stores, etc. Then the big chains caused them to go out of business. I remember when Builders Emporium made it tough for for the Mom and Pop Hardware to compete, then bigger hardware chains like Home Depot and Lowes put Builders Emporium and more Mom and Pop Hardware stores out of business. More recently Covid destroyed most of the remaining Mom and Pop businesses, because big businesses had much deeper pockets to wait out the pandemic. Walmart and the major Supermarkets thrived during the pandemic, as the mom and pop grocery stores died. Also Amazon, eBay, and other online sales sites profited tremendously during Covid. The reason why we have shortages today is because the Mom and Pop manufacturers, farms, and suppliers provided niche inventories that now no longer exist.

If A13 is interested in acquiring free bikes for content, they could reach out to the manufacturer and negotiate a deal that involves marketing benefits in exchange. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement that could work. Another possibility is that Troxus has received feedback that A13 is not providing satisfactory service levels that meet the manufacturer's standards. It's also possible that A13 is charging for warranty work or not offering it. Alternatively, another bike shop may be willing to provide warranty work for free if they become the exclusive NorCal dealer or offer warehousing for West Coast orders. We don't know the exact reason behind Troxus' actions, but we should keep in mind that the local bike shop in question tends to white-label everything and uses KZbin to promote itself and increase its revenue streams. This seems like a hit piece from A13 bad form...😢

You can't buy it anywhere else and is solely produced for us. So before you day we "white label" everything get your facts together.
