That lady got the PPP money during the pandemic and didn’t want to give him any.. She is a shady lady. She was trying to take advantage of him. Once he helped the place get better and more money started coming in she didn’t want to give it up.

Call me petty, but I hope she loses her business, and it ends up shut down. She couldn't even afford to fix anything, so could only use a fraction of the place. She had to backtrack so many times, because she kept lying. She used him and dragged him along, knowing she was never going to give him the business. She just wanted everything he offered, without paying the worth of his work. Then when COVID hit, she saw her chance at making a ton of money through the gov and figured she didn't need him anymore. She's a horrible person and a liar.

Can you just give a liquor license to another person? If there is a section of the floor that has collapsed, and the roof is leaking, can you be an operating business, wouldn't the business be closed as uninhabitable?

Its more complicated than that, if I understand it correctly, a liquor license belongs to the establishment AND the owner/operator. So if ownership/operator of a place changes, the new owner/operator has to apply for a liquor license before it will transfer. Also, because it belongs to the establishment, an owner/operator cannot take it with them to another establishment.

Plaintiff is very shady, not wanting him to be a manager/owner and made the Bar tender agreement. Then when he is doing his job and asked for training in what she do, she reneged on the agreement.
