I've never smirked when hospitalized either...but I must admit that I've smiled groggily as the morphine was injected into the IV Fluids Drip to relieve the pain of surgery. 🥴 But, getting back to this defendant, I had to watch this again today because I just can't even believe this woman is so frickin comfortable with lying like a dirty, nasty rug. She's a horrible human being. How do liars sleep at night? Are they like comatose or something- like completely disengaged from the realities of life? Just pay your frickin bills, you lying twit! I totally agree with the verdict, the defendant was definitely lying, but I also don’t understand why the judge was so pressed about the guy getting the permit. If she’s a passed customer, he said he did 10-15 jobs for her and he’s always been paid, why would he have reason to suspect she wouldn’t pay him this time? There’s been a few cases where the vendor went above and beyond for their customer so it’s possible he did do it just for customer service, especially if he does just live across the street. Lady is still a huge liar though

Seems like a fair ruling. However, I will say that it is not voodoo magic to insert or superimpose a signature on a document. This can be done easily using Adobe Acrobat or several other document manipulation programs. Maybe the judge has staff that does all of these things for her and she is not familiar with Acrobat.

At 14:33 When the judge asked him if his wife had thrown a brick through her door, the way he laughed, was way too long to be sincere, before saying 'no'. And the estimate she signed didn't mention that the wood not be removed, that text was on the permit, which we now know was a misinterpretation of the law, to his convenience, so he didn't remove any of the wood or branches, nor even the stumps, yet that was part of the estimate, so all in all this is a very dodgy case...
