This is, without a doubt, the feel-good story you need to watch! When Jed was a senior at Chaparral High School in the '90s, his mom could not afford his letterman jacket, so he never picked it up. Fast forward 28 years. His brother found the jacket - Jed's jackets - in a thrift shop in Pinetop. Tess Rafols was there when Jed finally got to put it on for the very first time.

This is SO awesome! To show you where, when and HOW I grew up: I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Male. Japanese-American. I am Class of 1991, and Jed is Class of 1994, so naturally I know a lot of 1994 people! So, for all intents and purposes, Jed is "my age." My father passed away unexpectedly in 2003, so I can relate with Jed and Josh, in terms of losing a parent that we were very close with. I wanted a letter SO badly in high school! I just had NO clue, that had I gone out for TRACK, I would have lettered! Note my age and birth year: I feared I "would have been laughed at and made fun of," if I only wore an Academic Letter. I was soccer equipment manager for the girls varsity soccer team my senior year, and finally got a varsity letter in Swimming my senior year. But, that meant it was February of my senior year, when I had a LEGIT varsity letter that I could be PROUD of (swimming). And, at that point, I was ready to graduate, so I didn't bother. Then, in the summer of 1993, when I was 20, earning 200-300 from umpiring kids softball games for a few weeks, I used that as my "letterman jacket fund." So, I didn't get a letterman jacket until I was TWO YEARS out of high school, but I'm still proud as heck about it! I'm not proud of how much fatter I've gotten, and couldn't likely fit into it anymore. But, seeing my last name in cursive on the back, is something I'm proud of, to this day. But, Jed and Josh's story is nothing short of AMAZING! Seriously, 50 year old me in 2023 is holding back tears, watching this story! (their late mother, and my late father, are really trumpeting the emotions in me)

As someone who's 3 years older than Jed (graduated in 1991), this is so AWESOME, that he's taller, but still SLIM enough to fit into a high school jacket! He certainly kept in shape, and (unlike me) doesn't have a Homer Simpson Body.
