So true!! There's a *lot* of good comics out there. Recently, quite a few have been starting to get picked up by streaming platform. The Boys, Paper Girls Y: The last Man, The Sandman and then BRZRKR, Wytches, Gideon Falls, and now Something is killing the children have all been picked up for future adaptations, too. Clearly Hollywood is seeing the potential in these amazing stories 🙌

@@El_Ace Not to mention all of the amazing webcomics! There's so many good reads out there! One of my current favs is Bicycle Boy by Jackarais. Beautiful art and interesting characters. Oh, and The Property of Hate by Sarah Jolley. She is SO inventive with how she uses panels and the characters are very lovable.

i"m very happy whenever manga people mention american comics, it's seems like there are only a few fans of both. i"m uselly not a horror guy because i don't like disturbing myself but i read department of truth out of curiosity and than couldn't sleep at night.

Department of truth 😵😵😵 I can see why now!! It's a great comic but not for the lighthearted! But I totally get what you mean, there's a bunch of ppl who are solely into manga *or* comics, not so much both

I love that Erica is not a hero. She’s just a much a survivor as the rest of the cast. She makes mistakes, she’s mean and cut troath. Nor does she want to be the hero. She just has the advantage that she know how to survive these monster and how to kill them, knowledge that very few people have. Which makes her useful, but not a hero

Dark remains one of my all-time favourite shows, I didn't get into 1899 as much, but the vibes were immaculate anyways! A shame it got cancelled though, but I guess this news was the justice deserved for that haha

@@linesinmotion: I'm the reverse. I fell in love with 1899 and was devastated when I learned that they cancelled it, but Dark didn't click with me to a similar extent. I mean, I appreciated it a lot and I'm willing to try watching anything by that team, but it didn't suck me in the way 1899 did. I guess those visuals, music, acting, actual chemistry between characters (especially between a certain doctor-in-training & captain), and, yeah, vibes in general were perfect for me. :D I very much like the Control/Twin Peaks/Inception/etc flavour of vibes (side note: I would love to see your video about Control).

This was a breath of fresh air for me. I'm so sick and tired of people on the internet dismissing Comics and declaring that "Manga is just better. End of discussion." There are so many great comics series that people are sleeping on just because they're not manga. My personal favorite recommendations are Monstress, The Department of Truth, West of Sundown, Miracleman, Karmen, Demon Days, and the Bloodborne comics (I really do like horror, huh?) to name a few.
