I have talked to an ISRO scientist, they mentioned that even in just the 2 weeks time CY-3 has collected soo much data that it'll take 3 years to study it. So, definitely more scientific finding coming out of this.

Seems like ISRO science is not as transparent when we had rockets and satellites launched in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. There were tangible results like live telecasts, long distance telephony, remote sensing etc … lately the outcomes and benefits of missions could not be verified as easily.

It makes sense that the water ice would be buried under a few centimeters of dry regolith. The ice may have been there for millions of years but lunar dust is constantly moved around by static electric forces and micro meteorite impacts, which allows the stuff to cover every bit of its surface. Plus, a layer of regolith could prevent ice from instantly sublimating, much like on Mars.

Every single country that was part of the British empire is better off for it, not that negates some off the horrible things that were done, look at the countries in the third world that were with British or French territories( believe it or not the British weren’t the only ones who ruled other countries) and see how much better off they compared to those that weren’t. It’s amazing how you can make such a sweeping comment from a country that still thought that throwing yourself in airplanes at American aircraft carriers less that 80 years ago for an emperor who cared not one bit for them was a good idea. Or should we forget about the 20+ million the Japanese killed while looting china? Stones and glasses houses spring to mind.
