Tij ignilia confidence really really impressed me. He projects himself as a top center. And he is a different kind of player then Nick. I think ignilia is that dark horse that's going to be huge player on whatever team he plays on. If we pass on Tij, i think we will be in another brady tkchuk situation

HAbs need to take a player that helps them make the playoffs but shines when they get in the big dance. Don't know the difference? Look at the players still playing in the finals then look at the Leafs roster.

Dinner means nothing at combine. Montreal does their dinners with players on draft weekend once they have it narrowed down. In that sense Reimbacher did have dinner with them draft weekend

One thing I didn't consider until yesterday talking with someone and this is hypothetically speaking...what if we make a trade for Necas and Xhekja is part of the package; Could we potentially draft Dickinson at #5 ? He was a beast with London during the season and the Memorial Cup and was arguably their best player in the tournament, he has all the tools in his repertoire to become an elite defenseman and his size and physicality replaces Xhekja in the system, just a thought. I still say what we do prior to or the day of the draft in terms of a trade(s) and obviously who is taken before pick # 5 will determine the selection.

By that I mean, where have you watched them play, and how much 'gametime' have you been able to watch for each of them? I've *tried* to find games available to watch to familiarize myself with them all, without much luck. 🤔

Ya but lindstrom plays bigger hits more of a power forward etc Sennecke is great also but not a hitting powerfoward type of guy which habs said they wanted to add physicality and offensiveness so we shall see

Well I agree with you on that but Sennecke just grew like 6 inches in under a year some thing crazy like that so he just getting used to a big body frame I thing when he puts on muscle he will be like a power forward who All so has great hands

@@darryldisher4615 perhaps but I still see lindstrom more as the nose to net kinda guy that throws big hits like Anderson 2.0 but Sen I see him more like a guy who sets up plays and has nice hands smarter IQ Im just saying based off Kent Hughes press he said he wants to add offensive and physical so I feel lindstrom fits that best I'd be happy with either or... Hopefully beck and florian start season as tough guys also

If celibrini Lindstrom and demidov all go before 5th pretty sure levahunov will be gone by then too... you take silayev or Dickinson, not the time for high risk low reward type of pick, not in a rebuild... in two years if all of them pan out you can trade for a first line forward... if not you still built a solid defense and probably drafted high again next year...

Montreal has another first round pick. I know everyone believes the pick will be traded but the Habs do have to consider who they will draft if the pick is not moved.

I dunno, if Chicago doesn't pick Demidov I can see Verbeek surprising everyone and grabbing him. Yeah, there is the Russian factor and his size but that skillset might be too good to pass up and don't forget, the Ducks are deep with D and outside of a high-end RD really need a solid winger. Also, Verbeek was not a big guy himself and had an exceptional career. Even though he likes big, skilled two-way players, he knows size isn't everything and sometime when an elite player is right there you pick him! If the Ducks do interview and have contact with Demidov and everything goes well, I can see him going to Anaheim...."IF" Chicago passes on him. If they do take him, Anaheim takes Levshunov in a heartbeat. The Habs will wind up taking Iginla or Lindstrom.

Columbus will no doubt take Lindstrom or Demidov if they fall. With that being said I think we should draft Catton. He is the final missing piece in the puzzle. Montreal didn’t have the chance to draft Cooley or Smith so now they get a very similar player in Catton.
