Fun Fact: Ray Chase re-recorded all of Neuvillette's lines after the after-trial conversation between him and Navia and archons above, did he do him so much justice. To this day, I am still obsessed over this character

Its a nice touch that Neuvillette did not intervene with the arrest of Childe until AFTER he posed as a danger to the audience safety by transforming. Cause like he says in the future "If that poses a concern, I'm prepared to extend my protection to the audience."

confession: after act 5 of fontaine archon quest, i was initially confused by the dissolved women combining into One oceanid, because everyone else in navia's mock trial in act 5 was represented by one oceanid per dissolved person. however, later on, watching arnold's playthrough of the old wishful drops event clarified it for me 👍 as it says that oceanids can combine and assimilate similar to what vigneire and the other women did here. arnold's time capsule is the gift that keeps on giving fr!!

It really was such a great act 2. Excellent pacing, good reveals, first class voice acting. Going into Fontaine, I wondered if they could match Sumeru, but they definitely delivered. Gives me hope as we close in on Natlan. What do they have in store for us?

tbh i always find it kinda strange for Neuvillette, the Hydro Sovereign who's able to see memories in the water, to not be able to hear Furina's cries in the fountain... like- i dont think someone like Neuvillette needs to drink the Primodial Sea & stand directly under the fountain like the Traveler just to hear Furina's crying🤔

52:22 Arnold's continued belief that Celestia was the second who came at this point in the story has me reexamining my own thoughts on the matter. I believed the same at the time of Sun and Moon, but the reveals in Sumeru and the Staff of Scarlet Sands pushed me to think that the PO was Celestia. But as I think about the information holistically... I definitely think he could be right on that. Does anyone happen to know if Arnold continued to read character profile stories? That playlist hasn't been updated in over a year.

this could be spoilers seeing as we now know that Clorinde is one of Furina's best friends, I wonder how long she knew about Furina's BS but just didnt say squat about it. XXD edit: on the contrary, Neuvillette's response about the traveler's sibling says something. . . she/he never got to fontaine. So the experience that we got from Fontaine will figure somehow in the bigger picture down the road that gives us an insight that the sibling doesn't have.

I’ve noticed that throughout the game, the narrative sometimes references 'Teyvat,' 'the world,' and 'Earth,' which can be a bit confusing. It almost feels like Teyvat is being set up in opposition to the entire world, much like Paradis versus the rest of the world in Attack on Titan. Is this intentional, or are these terms being used interchangeably depending on the context?

Spoilers for whoever is doing thsi quest along with Arnold here..please don't see below..any theory crafters please do look down i have a theory and would not mind a discussion . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Honestly, 95% of fontaine's archon quest was amazing. The entire story with Vacher, the truth behind furina...but the last five percent, aka the appearance of that whale as the cause of disaster just..ehhh...felt very anticlimactic tbh. They could have foreshadowed it, and that would have made it much less sudden. But Narwhals appearance at the theatre was just bizarre. This is what makes Sumeu's archon quest the best for me, for the time of its release it dropped amazing lore..it was long and was not as hype as fontaine, but it maintained its sense of suspense. While fontaine for me fell right at the end...(still very good though..don't get me wrong, Furina's sacrifice hits soo hard). -------------THEORY BELOW --------------------- However i have a theory about it. The five sinners are not bad people(like come on see Gold..her experiments may have been the cause of a lot of disasters but she herself does not sound evil..an evil witch doesn't seems to be the kind of person that Alice would associate with. In fontaine's quest we learned, that the prophecies around teyvat are NOT done by "a heavenly punisher" but rather they are impending events that must happen..how they happen is irrelevant. Orobaxi was prophesized to die, however it was never mentioned how. They chose to mount an attack on Yashiori and got slain as a result(almost as if they predicted it) and it was never mentioned that Raiden was instructed by heavenly principles to do it. Similarly the fate of Remuria was to be ruined, however it was never mentioned how. It was just an inevitable fate. I am sure Remuria would have survived if Remus decided to relocate and change the nations name, destroy the buildings himself..and it would have counted as prophecy being done..why? because same thing happened in fontaine. Word by word. Fontaine would be flooded, and Furina alone would be weeping on the throne. The flood happened, furina weeped alone on the throne of hydro archon and done. Remuria could have been saved if they had tried to play with the loophole of the prophecy. Now it cant be a coincidence that Vedrfornir is hinted to be the one who made that prophecy in the first place, and his co-sinner happened to be the owner of that whale who made it happen. I think, the flood was bound to happen by one reason or another..and Rene's calculations were probably right..however Vedrfornir, Surtalogi and Focalors collaborated to "CREATE" a flood that they can control rather than a flood created by outside forces that would be beyond their control. And all three together thus laid out the foundation of what we saw as the archon quest. I feel, the sinners ARE HELPING archons prevent prophecies by creating destructions or events that are under their control to minimize the damage. Maybe albedo being left at Mond is because he is the key to counter to Durin, who is bound to awaken. Who knows maybe Osial's rising was part of their plan too..i mean it is not impossible consider one of those 5 was a visionary who can see and predict future

so .. just a few loose ends to tie up, and then off to Natlan. + ... ooo .. after Furina's anxiety attack, you said to Furina: "Relax! Jesus". Did you call Furina Jesus? + the Oratrice verdict and Furina not knowing why the verdict? .. Just cos you create dice doesn't mean you know what's going to turn up.
