I'll bet the horses love their haircuts! So much easier to scratch your back without the fuzz. Odd socks are normal. I used to safety pin my socks together when I tossed them in the washer. Then...I lost the safety pins! My laundry is often cursed! Horses eat, move and then they poo shortly thereafter. It makes mucking out easier too! Oskar is fab! He's a little motorized darling! Horsehair!! It used to be used to stuff furniture, used as insulation and probably a lot of other things also. Odd socks are a fact of life when the kids are little. No sense in driving yourself crazy trying to keep track of them. I tired 'mud colored' socks for a while when my kids were little, but it didn't last long. Thanks for the horse feeding explanation. It helps us non horse folks understand.

Go Oscar Go! Soon he'll be right there helping you with the chores. Loved your explanation on feeding, keeping all stages of age in mind. Even as humans, when we stop moving is when we get old and stiff. It seems your weather and ours mimic each other. Last week it was 20degrees f, then 5 to 6 inches of rain. Next couple of days its 70degrees. And Vivian that was so kind of you, it definitely was a gift of love.
