The Cinderella story was nicely told. I’ve had horses for over 50 years and have lost a few, just this past September I lost a sweet old horse. I know how hard it is, but you gave her a wonderful life and lots of love. She very much deserved it. Thank you for what you are doing.

In the past I have cut a 4 inch plastic pipe in half and used it as a temporary gutter. It may be a quick fix to you can do a proper job. Just an idea. We are so glad to have found the magic Moons, you bring such joy to our lives!!

When I had a horse, I used an old refrigerator, laid down on its back, in the feed room. Just take out all the racks and drawers etc and you have an airtight, clean container. ( I used one of the drawers inside the freezer part just to have a separate small container). The beauty is, no critters can get inside, either. And if it has a separate freezer compartment, that can be used for your supplements,etc. It's an awesome way to repurpose an old appliance.

Old chest freezers to keep all feeds safe and dry worked for us for many years.

The best thing to use for feed bins is old chest freezers - you could put dividers inside. Just go to the tip and get them for free. I used them and were great stopped all mice and rats. X

One tip we used for our horse feed and animal feed, is that we pick up some huge chest freezers OR upright refrigerator/freezer that can be used for storage. Prop them up off the ground with some foundation blocks. The refrigerator freezer can be laid on its back and you can open and close on top. I am sure some of the things can be picked up OR you can ask the guys at the tip to give you a shout out when someone is throwing out a chest freezer or refrigerator/upright freezer. I'm sure it's free for the taking! Eventually you can get a proper feed hopper bins in the future when your finances are able. Mice and rats can't get inside of the containers. I enjoyed the video!

It was great to watch Eperlan and Liv giving you the run around. It shows they have a sense of fun still. The hose pipe looked good fun Charlie. Well done for getting the rug rack up, I'm sure there will be many years of use left in them. Perhaps a stable door would be good for the feed room? You could keep the bottom half closed and the top half open for the birds. Just a suggestion. Keep going strong Moon family. 🙂

I was very active for most of my life, suffered a few injuries over the years. Now in my 60's my body reminds me of how much fun I used to have. I lost my magnetic blanket during a move and miss it very much (they are terribly expensive) I still use magnetic fingerless gloves, elbow, knee and ankle braces when I have flare ups. Magnetic clothing is just the best thing ever invented - I also have a few magnetic pieces of jewellery that can be used in different ways. I broke many bones and injured muscles/tendons over the years I have a huge soft spot in my heart for Retired Athletic Horses, you take such good care of them - they couldn't be better loved or cared for. Their running around in the fields and making escapes to have a walk about is proof of their excellent care and the Magic that surrounds them! I'm so impressed with their grace at an old age - Their elite training and lifestyle is still obvious.

All the rain is going to make the grass grow. It's so nice to get those little jobs done, it makes a difference. I love that Little Liv has the freedom to do what she wanted with no angry consequences, and of course Epilan went with his wife. Maybe you could use pins with all the rainbow colours on their heads for your world map markers. Midsummer in New Zealand, they've opened the fridge door down in Antarctica, and there was snow in the lower South Island. We only just had a 33C day! 😮

Those naughty horses. Reminds me of when I was a child I volunteered to catch my Dads horse for him it was freezing cold and raining bucket loads. He conveniently didn’t tell me his horse is a one man horse and no one can catch him or get near him, but my Dad. The laughs were on me that morning 😂

Hi in our area of france we cut heart shapes in the doors of barns for the swallows when they come for the summer. Less than 10 km away they cut diamonds, clubs and spades from playing cards. Big hugs from the haute saone (70). Keep up the magic thst you do !!!
