This song really ministered to me. He used this song to speak to me in where I was at and soon enough, I found the reason. I have been wanting a big move to experience his love as his child. And this past weekend, I felt the presence of his love and his power through the Holy Spirit. God is always speaking to us, it's amazing! God is here! Wow. I am currently fasting social media because I want that realness, that closeness with God. I do this every January to start off my year the right way. Just leaning in, pressing in, asking God what it is he's asking of me in 2019. Asking him what i need to do so set my priorities straight and act with urgency. It's a hard thing to do, but I'd disconnect from it at any moment just to be Jesus's friend, you know? A real friend. I love that I'm just running into this song. Thank you for putting this out!

So..I've searched youtube for 'I want something real', hoping to get some cure for my depression. But the first thing popped up was this song; eventhough the singer was singing about how he wants the relationship with a girl to be 'real'(atleast that's what I understood), I was able to sympathize with the song because of the current depressed state I am in right now. I felt today that only the things that I do online, the people whom I chat with in online, only brings me happiness...but it isn't real. And I wanted something or someone who is real, whom I can touch, feel and talk to...and yeah this song perfectly synchronizes with my feeling of wanting something real.
