Our turkeys would rub all their chest feathers off on the fence when they would try to get to the ones on the other side, trying to fight.

This happened over night. The only rooster that is behind a fence is the laughing rooster in the big coop, so I don't know. Do that get red and swell up too?

Tucker is a beautiful well behaved dog 🐾. If I had a farm which is a dream I would only have dogs, cats and cows. 🐄 when I was a kid my school was right behind the dairy farm and I’d sit every recess and pick the grass and feed the cows. My little hand would fit perfectly though the chain link fence, the playground teacher would ask me if I was scared of them and I would say no way I love them ❤ best days of my life.

Lorie we had that happen to one of our rooster's. As I started checking my flock I noticed that they had mite's. I bought food grade Diatomaceous Earth. I put it down where they dust bath at and haven't had an issue since. Also chicken's and other fowl's molt a few times a year and will peck at their feathers sometimes causing themselves to loose all their feathers and bleed. I really don't have any other suggestions. Sorry he's looking so rough. I hope he gets better soon. Thanks for the video. Mych love from our family to your family 💞

Our ducks live with the chickens. They were babies when we got them and the chickens are all they know. Maybe spray some BluCoat on the rooster’s chest and separate them for a week or so

Check his crop area to see if it’s full such as for sour crop or crop impaction. I’ve never had chickens but I use to hand raise cockatiels, finches and love birds. Watch his breathing. You may want to quarantine him away from the other birds just as a safety measure for him and them. If he’ll let you hold him, look him over for any kind of bite mark. Aww I hope he’ll be okay. Those goats are just precious, I wish I lived in the country so I could have one. Keep us updated Lorie. ❤❤

If the hens are picking all his feathers and eating them you may need to see what’s missing in their diet and add some supplements.

LOL...yeah, kind of is funny! He is free ranged. There is one other rooster that is free range, but Batman is the dominant roo. He is swollen. It looks like fluid (or pus) filled place on his chest.

Im wondering if he got a spider bite or wasp sting.....my goats have and they swelled up🤷‍♀️! Just a guess, i have no other idea about it other than he got spurred by the other rooster and it got infected
