Im from india. Came to ireland as an international student for my masters. To pay my bills, i have to do part-time work. I got a part in a ware house. The place where i work is filled with illegal immigrants and refugees most of them are muslims. They have free home , free food, and no tax gets deducted from their salary. I really feel bad for myself. I paid for a college fee around 10k euros and rent, bills, and tax. It's really hard for me to get accommodation as a student in ireland. The Euro didn't accelerate the cost of living, due to most of Irish imports going through the UK, as Ireland in vendor managed by british firms, the exchange rate would have made it cheaper but the Brexit red tape on imports did make it more expensive..

IR£2.00 for a coffee instead of €2.54 became €3, larger items were rounded up to the next decade amount. The euro impoverished Irish people once it strengthened and it’s not price competitive either… People pay far more for goods and services in euros within Ireland than Sterling or Dollars.

The increase in costs of imports from the UK is down to Brexit causing importation charges not currency issues as the Sterling drop 13% in value in 2016 and PM Truss totally tanked Sterling but it is now hovering at €1.15 - €1.17 for the last 2 years.

My father (who I haven't seen in a long time, thankfully) is an African, making me dark skinned. I've always loved Irish and Europran culture because i see myself as a European more than I see myself as an African and I am proud of being half Europran.
