I'm 70 years old and listened to pop music my entire life, at least until the late 80s...then the music changed, the lyrics got stupid, and the vocalists just didn't have the "gift" anymore. I was very sad when we lost Karen Carpenter, I loved her voice. Your voice is so very reminiscent of hers, but also very much your own. I was listening to Karen on the radio the other day, her voice was so awesome and unique. A sound taken to early. I thought no one could ever sing like that again. Then, WOW!!!! She is awesome.
