You mentioned tours departing daiy in this video... just wanted to say that Tours departing daily is my favorite thing. Ever. I grew up going to Disneyland and moved away to the east coast a few months ago. Now I put Tours Departing Daily on my giant TV and sound system in my living room almost every day and grind away at my work while Disneyland vibes run in the background. Insane productivity boost I cannot even explain. Will be flying back to CA in a couple months to take my girlfriend (soon fiance!) to DL for her first time, and the Tours videos are keeping me in a "magical mood" :P Thankful for the consistent and faithful content that's just wholesomely sharing "we love Disneyland". You've stuck with it for so long and it's stayed one of the purest, least toxic, most wholesome celebrations of DL anywhere on the internet. Thx for what you do.

Having read every Biography from Neal Gabler’s “Walt Disney”, To Sam Genneway’s “The Disneyland Story”… BOTH of which I cannot recommend enough, that concept is so on point!! There was no line to get into the parking structure when we arrived at 7:50 a.m. Pirates and Haunted Mansion were both down, but everything else had no lines. It was almost eerie! ❤

Were you at the park during a world series game? The fact that the Dodgers are in the world series could effect crowds like this. I went yesterday, which was game 4... and it was dead. Waited 15 minutes for Runaway railroad (was posted at 35). 20 minutes for Space (was posted at 45). Rise was posted at 25 minutes when I walked by (didn't wait). It actually felt like the off-season.

We were there on Tuesday Oct 29. NO CROWDS! 5-15 minute wait times on most rides at Disneyland. Of course the usual culprits were a little longer. 30 min for Peter Pan. 25 min for Thunder Mountain. No wait for dining. A great day!

Just got home today from being in the parks Tuesday,Wednesday, and Thursday, with OBB on Tuesday. The crowds were SO small! For OBB, we did Hades, Oogie, Sid, Agatha, Doofenshmirtz, Judge Doom, and Ernesto. With Ernesto, we waited an extra minute or two to hear him sing Remember Me. With Hades, we waiting an extra 5-10 minutes to see him turn red. We also did Kingdom Hearts and Sanderson Sisters photos as well as Villian's Grove. We did all of that BEFORE the first parade, so we watched the parade, rode a few rides, and went back to the hotel before 9:30 having done everything we wanted to do for the night. We used your DCA rope drop strategy except for Guardian b/c my friend doesn't like that ride. We did Soarin, Incredicoaster, Toy Story, Pixar Pal Around, Spiderman, and RSR (x 2 via single rider) all before 9:30. Crowds in Disneyland were very low too with most rides under 15 minutes. I even saw Rise at 20 minutes on Wednesday! We rode it at 30 minutes posted and it was certainly less than a 30 minute wait. Again, we used your strat. We saw it was 45, checked the line to confirm, went and rode Smugglers (which was a walk on) and then returned to find Rise at 30, but was closer to 20 or 25. This was such a great week to go. I may make this the time of year for me to go every year. Thanks for all you do to create great content. My Disneyland trips are always better because of you!

I’m a little like you, I like Splash Mountain, but I didn’t have much of an attachment for it either because I started visiting Disneyland before it was it was built. I actually liked the previous land “Bear Country 🐻” a lot because it was Woodsy🌲🌲🌲 and was dedicated to the bears. But you’re right, Disney maintained the integrity of the land even with the addition of Splash Mountain, Winnie The Pooh’s Adventure and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It looks great and I will give it a chance!!!

Hey David!!! I dont know if you know but you mayne should put tilt lock on your Osmo so you dont have to keep recentering it . I completely agree with you, I do not like the negativity around Tiana’s! I loved splash because it’s a nostalgic memory for me as a kid, and I did not like the reasoning for why they wanted to get rid of splash. BUT, when I heard they wanted to retheme it to princess and the frog I was SO excited and completely support that decision. It made perfect sense, that movie is so much better known and to be honest, splash mountain was definitely outdated. I think they did a wonderful job with the ride and can’t wait to try it out in February!

The corn ribs are our favorite at Magic Keys Terrace and we are so glad they added it to the new Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree! We were thinking, we haven't seen anyone do a video on the Magic Key Terrace in a long time and we have noticed they change their menu almost seasonally because the menu has some different entrees every time we visit in a year.

Crowds have been overall light throughout the spring and summer, the 3 Saturday’s I visited in May and June were pretty much a joy as there were not the usual wall to wall people everywhere you went in both parks.

We were there on Tuesday 10/29 and was very surprised at the very short lines for all attractions except Peter Pan which was its usual 40 minutes. We did 20 minutes for Resistance at 10:30 am, 10 minutes for Big Thunder, 20 minutes for Indie and on and on! The only long line was for the newly opened barbecue restaurant!

I love your optimism. It makes the wanting to go the park more applicable. But... if you been going to the park for a while, you see what was free that's now behind a paywall. Or were taken away then suppose to be happy they bring a water down version or something completely different back. So complaints are layered . Idc about the themeing of a ride, i never paid attention lol it's a log ride to get wet on, that's why I went on it. It's just another thing for most to complain about. Disney went the route of charge for everything even with lower attendance (meaning pre pandemic numbers). It's even worse at wdw.

The Premium Pass, which we use to get, had No Block Out Days at all and free parking all year long. I think it was about $1,200 or $1,300 per year. Fast Passes were free, no charges for any ride at all once in the Park. Those were the Days !

Aloha Dave..I remember seeing the seating area off the secret path and noticed the trimmed trees but for some reason I got a better look on this video. At first I thought wow .they made it bigger..but then I look at old pictures I have of it and it IS the trees just simply being cut back made the difference...I look forward to a tuna sandwich out there or som dat new bbq up da road .
