A government that evaluates based on performance standards (same standards for all companies). Is key. Remove the politics and personal egos and get down to performance

Most People ! ..... including SpaceX fans and Me ... were very Skeptical about Mumbling Musk's , BF Rocket's abilities ... and being Caught by Chopsticks after only 4 disastrous Test Flights ... plus , Ripping Apart his Starbase with Rock Tornadoes , etc ! ... But HE freaking DID IT ! ... and everyone's Jaw Dropped ! ... Now SpaceX ... Rules the Rocket Industry !!

Obviously despite it being explained incessantly for 20 years you do not understand how our SpaceX works. The prior 4 test flights were not disastrous. They test what they have so far to the point of failure and that informs them how to improve the following iterations which are lined up like ducks already. The result is that you very quickly get something that works properly. As you can see there was significant improvement from one test flight to the next. You may have been surprised at the dramatic capture on the 5th flight but nobody else was

Boeing is trying to save face after humiliating failures while SpaceX is launching Rockets like bottle rockets by teenagers.

That's right. Boeing might not even know what to say to avoid becoming a laughing stock in the community

Definitely no significant progress.

Raptor 3 just hasn’t flown yet, and they're already working on Raptor 4.

Starliner is a sad case and a massive problem. So the thrusters keep failing. Both different types. As thrusters have been around as long as spacecraft it is not new technology and therefore surprising that products made by aerojet, keep failing. Informed opinion seems to believe that the dog box is the problem. So many thrusters packed in together in a sealed unit is causing overheating and that is causing thruster failure. Quite obviously there is no quick fix for that. It is likely that the problem of overheated failing thrusters cannot be solved without a complete redesign of the dog box. I reckon it's SpaceX could come up with a redesigned very quickly but God knows how long it will take Boeing

Everything you said is correct. If Starliner wants to fly, some parts need to be redesigned. It's gonna be sooo long.
