When the Elder Predator tells Harrigan to take the pistol, it's a trophy that he took from another human centuries before. I believe it was when it and a human fought side-by-side in a comic, I believe. In the Yautja culture, they respect the hunt above all else. Harrigan killed one of their own and was worthy of their respect. So, the Elder Predator chose to give him a trophy signifying his victory.

The story goes the Elder was hunting a pirate captain after a successful raid. When he was about to strike, the captain was mutinied by his whole crew. The Elder came to his aid together they slaughtered the crew. The captain died from his wounds but gave the Elder his pistol. This was dirived from a treatment for a possible prequel film. There is a fantastic predator fan film set in the mid evil Period.

And a pregnant mother is at the top of that list (they're also forbidden to kill children, the elderly, and those who are deathly sick (like cancer patients)). That's why the City Hunter spared Leona. If he had killed her, his people would have INSTANTLY labeled him a "Bad Blood".

The predators don’t kill unarmed people. Doesn’t matter what sex they are. It killed a bunch of women on the train. It would have killed the female cop, because she was armed. What saved her was that she was pregnant. The little kid had a toy gun, it left him alone. The predators also skin people that they killed and put up a fight. The naked dude that the Jamaicans hung up in the apartment, was stabbed by them, so the predator left his body alone. The annoying cop that was killed on the train, was the annoying soldier Hicks in Aliens.

It isn't so much a code as it is basic hunting rules/principles. It is the same reason why our hunting rules only allow for killing of mature adults and not during mating season. You want the animals to have a chance to reproduce in order to maintain the populations and ensure the animal is still around in future years for hunting.

Arnold’s character only very recently came back with the game Predator Hunting Grounds. You can play as him and unlock audio log of what he’s been doing since the first movie. There’s also a tie in book. It’s so weird it took so long. Even in other books, comics, and games he was just mentioned. In Kevin Hart: Back up. How the hell do you _turn up_ missing? Killing a pregnant person would’ve been against the yautja (predator) honor code Predators prefer heat and conflict, but if there’s a good hunt in it, or a ritual involved, they’ll go somewhere cold The City Hunter actually found it incredibly embarassing/humiliating that Harrigan removed his mask. Arnold Schwarzenegger was gonna come back to the movie, but turned it down as he didn't like the script taking place in the city. He starred in Total Recall and T2, both Oscar Winning hits. Patrick Swayze and Steven Seagal we're considered before Danny Glover was cast. This was the first film to receive an NC17 rating, as they cut 25 minutes of gorier bloodier footage to obtain an R Rating.

The Elder Predator (Grey Back aka Golden Angel) took the pistol from a dying pirate captain named Raphael Adolini. He gave him the pistol and said "Take it" The pirate captain and the predator fought together briefly against his crew that turned on him because they wanted to steal gold from a church and Adolini was against it. Adolini and the Predator turned and faced each other with the Predator intending on fighting him. Adolini accepted that this is what the creature wanted and also got into a fighting stance but was shot and killed from one of the remaining pirates. The predator robbed of his prize kills the remaining pirate and thats when the pistol was given to him. The predator left his blade behind with him also repeating the words "Take it"

9:50, Gary Busey is supposed to be Dutch from the first film, where he leads a secret government task force sent to LA to hunt down and destroy the Predator. However, it's revealed in the novelization based on the movie, he escaped from an Army hospital, having been exposed to radiation due to the self destruct device and hasn't been seen since.

The Predators are honor bound warrior/hunters. They have killed women before but typically that female character had a weapon and was fighting them. In the case of the woman cop, when he scanned her and discovered she was with child, despite having a weapon, chose to spare her. Also there was a lot going on and he knew others like her would be on the way.

There are a lot deleted scenes that were filmed but were cut: El Scorpio's body disappears, hence the Predator taking it as a trophy. Ramon Vega, in the original script, survived the Predator slaughtering the Jamaicans. Harrigan ends up getting fired from the police force, taking responsibility for Danny's death. The Predator follows Harrigan through the streets, where it enters a taxidermist shop, decloaks, then touches a stuffed lion. A jogger sees this through the shop window, but the Predator disappears. The Predator follows Jerry and Leona to the Subway, where it hitches a ride on the back of the train. The Predator, City Hunter, was about to kill Leona, but realized she's pregnant, drops her on the floor, and smashes her gun. Harrigan chasing the Predator was a lot longer, as unseen VFX footage shows the Predator leaping from rooftop to rooftop. The Predator, City Hunter, kills Danny and takes spine as a trophy, where he climbs on top of a skyscraper and geta struck by lightning. This happens to Jerry later on. Rather than Harrigan killing the City Hunter, it was the elder Predator, Grey back, killing him, and gives Harrigan the flintlock pistol.

If you want to learn more about the Predator culture, you should really check out the comics. Goes into way more depth about their species. There's plenty of examples of them working alongside humans against deadlier creatures. For example, Broken Tusk was betrayed by his clan and left to die but was cared for by humans and in return he protected them from a xenomorph infestation. Then there was Ahab who teamed up with a band of humans to hunt an Engineer, the creators of the xenomorph species

For they thermal suits, that blocks the predator heat vision mode....but the Predator kept switching until he had a right vision mode until it was visible to him...which it was they lamps on there shoulders gave them away... They kill for trophy hunting or attack perceived threats, such as anyone who attacks them with a gun, knife, etc. If it sees potential targets that are weaker than itself, such as a pregnant woman or a child, they spare it. old man in UP. Hes like my grandpa. Tough and mean Mexican. But his love and helping out always shine when I needed it. Koo true story, my grandpa was 7 years old when he started working. He told me cops took poor Mexicans, blacks, and whites kids out of schools and put them kids out to work in cotton fields. I asked my grandpa why cops did that? My grandpa thought then said, "they (elites) didn't want us (poor kids) to learn". My grandpa worked 4 jobs when he got married. My mom said her dad would sleep 2 hrs then go to next job. That man never had education but knew how to fix cars, build houses and saved alot money. I had education. But had zero desire to do real hard when i was young thug. I listen to elites' rappers. Elder Hunters can live for hundreds to thousands of years. They have code of honor. They don’t kill those who are sick, pregnant or unarmed. Another example if one of them is killed or injured they activate a self-destruct device on their wrist gauntlet. Means committed honorable suicide to make sure there’s no evidence of their existence and prevent their technology from falling into the hands of another species: Humans. They breathe 1% more oxygen and 4% more nitrogen than humans. They are capable adapting themselves to Earth’s atmosphere for one week at the most if deprived of a breathing apparatus.

The new predator movie coming next year is about the very first predator ever to visit earth, so it’s set 100’s of years in the past. The alien skull in the ship was just thrown in as an inside joke, after that then came comic book crossovers, which then led to the alien v predator movies. But neither of those movies are part of the canon of each character. The makers of the alien movies state that the predator doesn’t exist in their universe.

Did you guys understand what the Predator-leader that gave him the gun meant - It was a sign of respect - Remember when in the first one when it took all of its armor off and fought Arnold 1-on-1, they have principles and respect the best fighters more (And when all the Predators showed up at the end, they didn't kill him, because they knew he wasn't a challenge to them - They only kill you, when they think you could actually challenge them (remember Arnold in part 1 figured that out with everyone that had a gun), and it didn't kill the lady in this one, not because she was a woman, but because she was pregnant, meaning she posed no challenge)), also, it was a gun from the year 1715, which means, those predators, have been visiting earth, and killing our kind, before there was even electricity, lol! I'm looking forward to you guys reacting to Predators 3 (Predators).

Neat Reaction, Predator 2 is so underrated, also PredatorS are worth checking out n reacting to, The Predaror from 2018 was weird but ya may enjoy it, there also a sequel to Alien vs Predator title Aliens vs Predator Requiem. Heres some answers and some facts first the movie was filmed in the city for a reason. The director wanted to show that the Predator could hunt just as easy in a city or town. As the jungle because as he put it most people live in cities or towns not in the jungle. So he wanted to show the Predator can hunt anywhere successfully. To show that the Predator is lethal in any surroundings. Now about the alien or xenomorph skull the director. Put that in as a nod to Dark Horse Comics. Because Dark Horse Comics what's making alien and Predator comics for years. They even made a crossover comic book series called Alien versus Predator. Between 1989 and 2020 so the comic book series Alien versus Predator. Was out a full year before this movie was made in 1990. So the director put the alien or xenomorph skull in as a nod to Dark Horse comics. It had nothing to do with the up and coming Alien versus Predator movie. The director of the movie Alien versus Predator even admits the movie was never planned or they didn't even think it could be made at all. To make that movie in the first place. Now about the actual Predator itself thats what humans call them. Their actual species name is Yautja I only know how to spell it. Don't ask me how to pronounce it I have no clue. It's true they only see in infrared the reason. The Predator stopped in the meat factory is because they failed to. Take into account they have something called ears to listen. So it could not see them but it could hear them. As they went clink clink clink Walking On the metal steps an walk ways. So the Predator heard sounds that we're not there before. So it stopped to see what was making those sounds. When it could not see them in infrared the mask has Vision modes. Thats all I can say to avod future spoilers. It started to go through those different Vision modes. Till it found one that showed their lights. So them walking on the metal walkways and steps making all that noise alerted the predator to their presence. Now about the Predator or Yautja kills they have. A honor code that stops them from killing unarmed creatures or thing that can't defend themselves. They are basically the big Hunters of the Galaxy. If it can fight back its far game to kill. Thats why in the first movie it didn't kill the woman. No weapon she can't fight back no sport. Thats why in this movie it didn't kill the kid because he had a toy gun. Not a real gun he could not defend himself therefore no sport. He lived the female Detective she was armed with a real gun. Put the Predators scan showed she was pregnant. So she was off limit because killing her would kill the unborn child. The unborn child could not defend itself. So if the Predator killed her he would kill someone that could not defend themself. That goes against the honor code their Honor Code demands. That everyone or thing that they kill has to be able to defend themselves. If they can't defend themselves they are off limits. Thats it nothing else matters not age or gender. If they can defend themselves they are fair game. If they cannot defend themselves they are off-limits just that simple.
